Really a nice find quite close to the Ostbahnhof. Reservations strongly suggested. We arrived clueless but were seated nevertheless. It was Friday evening and it was a full house. We kept our order simple with the only veggie pizza on the menu and bruschetta classico. We were served quickly with both items. Bread, the butter, and the fresh tomatoes made for a great start with the bruschetta. Pizza was thin, crispy, and had all the charms of a stone oven cooked pizza. Zucchini and eggplant were full of taste and freshness. All in all, one of the better pizza we have had in a long time!

Steak. Over seasoned with pepper and killed the taste of the meat

I was in town for the Berlin Marathon. Trattoria was near my airbnb and was able to accomadate a large group. The food was average. The pastas werent bad but the steak was way over seasoned and very heavy on the pepper which overwhelmed the taste of the meat. The reastaurant gets fairly busy so make sure to have a reservation

The food was great! The service was good and they accommodated a gluten allergy. Everything came out quickly and we really enjoyed it!

I have heard this place from different colleagues. And fianlly found a time to try this out. The location of this restaurant is alright. Right direct to the mein street, very easy to find. The restaurant itself isn't really big, but it does have a cosy feeling. I came here with colleague for lunch. Let's say there are serval things are low points to me. First of all, let's talk the food. I ordered a pasta. Very basic one. But honestly it didn't really taste that good. I am quite a fan of pasta, I prefer the one from Vapiano. I did expected a bit more since I came to the Italian restaurant. Second of all, the potion of it, it really wasn't enough. Expecially with how much it cost. That's the other thing I didn't really like, the price is higher than I expected. For lunch, perhaps it is a bit too fancy. Sadlly, I didn't see they have any lunch special offers or sort of promotion. I saw some other colleagues ordered different thing. For example, the pizza did look great, maybe that could be a better choice. But again it still cost quite a lot for a lunch. For dinner, it would be ok.

Fantastic food. Crowded and busy. Wait staff was very good. Very authentic ingredients and good wine recommendations.

This was truly excellent Italian food. We had the salami bruschetta to start with and I had salmon with pasta in wine sauce.

To be honest, there is some kind of Desert around Ostbahnhof, when it comes to good quality food.

It was great to be able to just walk in and be seated right away. Our waiter, Rosen, was extremely nice. My dad had some type of pizza -- I think it is known for the pizza but they have a full menu. I did not try it, but I can tell u it is thin crust & square shape, which I really like. My dad loved it. I got the vegetable lasagna with bechamel sauce. Very yummy and huge portion! I had half right there, the rest to-go and that was breakfast for two more days. I woke up craving it! The service was also very fast, but not because it tasted or looked pre-made. It's not fancy but certainly not like a food court. It would be perfectly fine for a casual weeknight date. I've been to a million Italian restaurants that are way fancier and absolutely more pricey, and this place is better than many of them. It seems to have various locations around Berlin, so check it out if u r visiting, touring, here for work. It's a versatile kind a place, plus u can pick up almost anything else u need in the Alexa Mall!

You pick what pizza you want and the pieces are huge, we normally got two for each and some Fritz cola. This is hands down the best quick bite I've had here in Berlin with a warm, comforting, and inviting surrounding. Every time we have walked in it has been slow only to fill up entirely in a matter of minutes. You can't go wrong with anything they have laid out. I would recommend coming here more than once to truly appreciate their selection of pizza.

Dolcini - Spaghetti con Gamberetti - excellent but could use with a lot more seasoning (people in Berlin seem to like their food bland as heck!)

Located near Checkpoint Charlie in the center of Berlin, this very, very small but lovely little Italian restaurant makes amazing, authentic food. If you know a little German it will help you here. If you are a local or can get a reservation, that also would help. Otherwise it might be packed. We got the last table available when we came in. We had the Calamari Fritto app special, which was one of the all time best calamari we've ever had anywhere. We also had the Spaghetti con Gamberetti, which was excellent but could use more aggressive seasoning. People in Germany clearly don't like a lot of seasoning. I had the Penne con manzo e funghi stagionali, which was truly excellent. All the pasta was fresh, all the flavors authentic and appreciated. The only thing weird at all Italian restaurants is this spread they give you which I can only describe as sour cream and chives potato chip dip. I don't get it, but whatever. It's not like you get charged for it. Anyway, if you're in Berlin, put this place on your must try list and go!
