All of the pizzas I tried during my visit, including the vegan spec pizza and the vegetarian farm to table pizza, had a heaping helping of toppings, a great sauce, and a spectacular and satisfying crust. There are also lots of interesting drink options, including a very nice 0% Pilsner beer. Especially during coronavirus, if you are looking to grab a quick bite while sitting outdoors or takeout back to your own place, I would strongly recommend mono pizza. Parking can be a little bit difficult because of the small size of the lot out front, but you might be able to park along nearby streets or just walk since the city of Darmstadt is not too large.

Italy!…read more Ordered a 600g (21oz) T-Bone steak cooked medium rare with a 0.4l mini carafe of delicious house red, and a little sparkling water. 36Euros. The steak had more bite like a grass fed cow would, and the deep beefy notes confirmed this. Lightly herbed and charred with olive oil. This behemoth was almost double the size of most other steaks I see around Europe. It was served with steamed vegetables heavy on seasalt and roasted peeled potatoes. The house red had a structured fruity nose and gentle tannins--just enough to compliment the steak. The waitstaff were efficient and came by to chat occasionally. The price reflects how nothing seems cheap in Europe, but amazing value may be had.
