The pasta was cooked very nicely al dente, the sauce was creamy with the right amount of spice. The tartar was very fresh with shavings of white truffle. No complaints there. My dining companion asked the waiter multiple times for translations to English which the waiter wasn't very good at answering. it got to the point he just asked me to do it. While I was flattered in this scenario, might be annoying for other non-German and non-Italian speakers. My pasta was very good but quite a small platter. If it were not a late dinner, I would have definitely needed an appetizer or another order of pasta to be satisfied. The risotto was a better sized portion though barely enough without anything else. Our wine was good. A bit challenging to get a description of wine from the servers in English but we lucked out. Overall, it's a solid three. I'm sure I'll be back with colleagues but I'm not salivating at the thought.

Can't remember exactly what I had since I was too embarrassed to take a picture of my dish in front of the entire office staff, but from my memory I thought it was pretty good. The service from what I remember was pretty good. I didn't order any alcohol beverage to drink, but they filled my water constantly. Over all, not a bad place for lunch. They do have a outside patio dinning area, however, I doubt anyone would want to have their lunch outside where the temperature was in the low 40s.

I had the chickpea soup with pancetta to start and had the saffron risotto with saltimboca for main. Both were excellent and the flavours were intense and divine. The wine selection was excellent and the wine we chose was exceptionally good and we ended up getting through two bottles of it :-)) Desserts were a disappointment and that's a real shame. Am beginning to realize that dessert is not a German thing at dinner time and therefore probably not a thing people pay a whole lot of attention to :-( All in all a great experience and I will defenitely come back here :-)

We got there at 6.45 and after being told there was a 10-15 min wait we ended up getting seated at about 7.20, some 45 mins after we arrived. The host seated a couple he knew before us and, even though they arrived there after we did and, had no reservation like we did. That's the worst thing you can do as a host. When we got to our table we had menus straight away and things were happening and we thought ok, even though they are busy they are getting things done quickly. Once we placed our orders everything, from there on, went horribly wrong. Vorspeise took about 50mins to arrive and was getting cold and, was a dry Spaghetti Vongole. Main arrived another hour later and my wife ordered Spaghetti aglio e olio, which, on the menu said had Garlic, Olive oil and chilli with pasta (which is what this dish should be) and, it came out full of tomatoes, which she does not eat or was not expecting. Anyway that had to be sent back and was told that she would get a Quattro fromagi pasta in 3 mins and, it arrived 25 mins later after I complained. My fish main looked great on the plate and I was told it would be filleted and presented. Yes, again that took a while and my vegetables got cold. I can go on for paragraphs about everything that went wrong, but I will save it. At the end we walked up to the bar inside and paid as, we had asked for the bill 3 times and after 20 mins of waiting decided to take matters into our own hands. If you cannot handle a busy restaurant then stagger your bookings or, stop to allow the kitchen to catch up. There were so many people around us waiting for their food. The table right next to us got food delivered one at a time for a table of 4 and the average space was about 10 mins per person. The poor woman sat and waited for a good 20 mins to start eating her Vorspeise (however not sure how safe it is to have carpaccio sitting uneaten in the heat for 20 mins) waiting for the other three carpaccio's to arrive. I would never return here again even, if I am desperate. The food is not bad and perhaps under different circumstances, I might have rated the food higher. As a restaurant no matter what your origin or your staff you cannot survive without good customer service.

It seems like they cook the pizza in the oven and then add the toppings when they bring it out. I get it when they do this with prosciutto, which the Parma was, but the Piccante had lukewarm sausage and mozzarella. It's really a shame because the sauce and crust were tasty, it's just that the pizzas were on the border between lukewarm and cold.

The tables are spaced apart and it feels spacious. It does however lack the intimacy and ambience as a result. The menu here is extensive and they have a tageskarte which lists the daily and weekly specials. I chose a white wine which was quite nice, a bit pricey for white but good. I ordered a grilled scallop special that came with a fennel and orange salad. It was quite disappointing as the scallops were soggy and the whole dish lacked flavor and seasoning. For main I had their steak with vegetable. The steak was tiny and once again lacked flavor. For €24 I expect a bit more. I almost gave this restaurant a 2 star rating based on the first two courses. The savior was the zabaone which was very nice. Hence the 3 stars. Presentation is good and the service is good however lacked a bit of the personal touch. Good presentation never makes up for lack of flavor and I must admit, I had a hard time understanding what made this place popular ? I may give this place once more try on a normal day but, I will think twice before I do. I tried three of the four starters and they were all ordinary and lacking flavor. This is always a bit of a red flag for me. Will see if it is different another time and revise my review up or down ;-)) it's not a cheap place to eat and considering the wide range of fabulous Italian restaurants in the area it would be pretty hard to make the decision to come back here again.
