The travel group had excellent shore excursions. In Montego Bay, we took a party boat from the port to Doctor's Cove. We had several hours of fun on the beach and in the water. The party boat then took us to Margaritaville and then back to the port. The ride itself was a lot of fun. As we looked at the Jamaican shore line the boat staff taught us some dance "routines" to popular songs. The "routines" were probably appropriate for 1/10th of the passengers, but everyone had a great time. In Cozumel we had a private party at Mr. Sanchos. The location, food, and people were all perfect. On board the ship there was the quinceanaras ball which was beautiful to watch and a lot of fun to attend the reception. There were also other private parties on the ship and everyone was always having a great time. I highly recommend this travel agency/tour group. The staff are hospitable and concerned that you have a great trip.

There were a total of 16 of us in our party and we had various transportation needs over a 2 week period. We needed Airport to AirBnB transportation, hourly rental while we waiting to checkin to the AirBnB, transportation from the AirBnB to the Cruise port, then transportation from the Cruiseport back to the Airport - with ALL of our luggage. Armando accommodated every request we had, including giving us a tour of Miami and recommending places to stop along the way. We had our own private Hop-On-Hop-Off tour! He even came into places with us when needed to translate and help us understand the culture in Miami. He was always on time, even early, and got us to every destination with time to spare. His service was first rate, as was his skills in handling and fitting all of our luggage, and there was A LOT of luggage. And with all that being exceptional, his communication topped it all! Ideal South America organized our 15 day visit to Peru and Ecuador. Our original intent was to…read moretravel with two other couples, but illness caused them to drop out--this after already needing to change the trip to accommodate our air travel. Max and his team made these changes and also added my sister only a few weeks before the trip. The trip was great. We visited Lima, Cusco, the Sacred Valley, Machu Picchu, Quito, the Galapagos, and Guayaquil in our 15 days. At each airport, we were met with a guide and driver. Usually we had a guided tour, walking or small van. All breakfast and some other meals were included. Dinner was usually ours to find, but the guides were happy to offer suggestions when asked. Every guide was knowledgeable and responsive to our requests. Our second day at Machu Picchu was self-guided--but by then we knew what we wanted to see. The Galapagos 5 day trip was on a smaller boat, the Coral I with about 15 passengers, providing a small group visit to a number of the islands. My wife, sister, and I like smaller boats, and this one (Coral I) was very well equipped, but still closer to adventure than "Princess Cruise". A great way to see the islands, birds and animals. The tours required a fair amount of walking--but the amount of exercise is really determined by the group, and we all wanted to see as much as possible. I came home a pound lighter, and in much better shape. One real value Ideal South America provides is taking care of all the transport and lodging, so you can concentrate on the tour. In some ways, the biggest value of Ideal South America was not adding to the well known Machu Picchu and Galapagos, but rather giving us a good overview and interesting detail about Lima, Cusco, the Sacred Valley, Quito and the biggest surprise: Guayaquil. Our trip included 6 different places to sleep--that ranged from very good up to "Oh My Goodness", and 4 internal plane trips in addition to the flights to South America that were our responsibility. I got hired on to work with Pedro mid July, and at first I was excited to be working with him and…read morein this industry. I got hired on to work 30 hours a week at $16 and hour along with whatever the rate per course/class is. My first week I worked well over 40 hours, taking care of task that I already knew how to do. Come pay day, I'm told that this is the training period and I will receive $150 for the 40 hours worked or nothing at all. I make it through the training period and i am suppose to get my full hourly wage no matter what, and guess what? There suddenly isn't any work. It make sense why Pedro typically hires younger females with little to no self respect or esteem, because they won't stand up for themselves and they'll play along with his narratives, even if the are wrong or disrespectful. Because when I stood up for myself and my property he tried to get physical with me at his co working space in Wynwood. Now, Pedro won't pay me for the hours I worked because I stood up for myself and in the process he embarrassed himself in front of everyone he displays a fake attitude and demeanor towards. The tours and the can control course are a great time however I would just like to let you guys know what happens behind the scenes and the kind of person you're dealing with!
