Not only had she spent hours helping us book every single thing and recommending everything, she spent her time cancelling everything and getting every cent we had spent back. This was such a depressing time, but the way she took care of everything, with patience it eased the situation. Fast forward 2 years later, I had no doubts in deciding my travel agent Ani to book my trip to Europe again, this time with my parents. First of all, let me say that both my parents wanted to go with a tour group but I was against it since day one, however I was scared that if something went wrong in a foreign country they would blame me for not going with a group. The way Ani organized our entire trip was just Perfect. Every form of transportation was prebooked so we didnt have to waste extra time, energy, money abroad. Every process was as smooth as you can imagine. Flights, train, taxi, private transportation, gondola ride, boat taxi. Everything you wont think of, she did. She booked the best of the best tours, all skip the line & all within our budget. There was no way we were going to have a bad time. Of course, it all depends on your attitude as well. Some people just dont know how to travel so they will find an issue everywhere. My hotels, one better than the other. I could not have planned a better vacation and am forever grateful to Ani for planning everything as perfectly as possible. The entire time, both my parents and I were praising her for doing everything so professionally and so wonderfully. Thankfully, not once did my parents regret not going with a tour group. Although, I know Ani takes tours and knowing her, I will be more than happy to go with her. She is the sweetest; patient and professional . Takes her time to make sure all your needs are met. Our various tours was much longer than expected because she took the less expensive routes which resulted in long transportation & wait time. Overall our experience was very dissatisfying & I honestly can't recommend this agency for anyone. Our tours of different cities only included visits to churches & no where else. I paid $6600 for 10 days with Royal Travel Tours & Anet Tours offers Italy for $5200 for 12 days. I have traveled with Anet Tours to Dubai & had an amazing time but I wanted to try Royal Travel Tours to compare & I see now that there's no comparison.

She was hoping to have a smoother trip for herself and my sisters, especially with someone who could communicate in our native language (Armenian). Unfortunately, this was a huge mistake. Hovannes booked our tickets to Armenia with Qatar Airways, but when it came time for my mother's return, things went downhill fast. My sisters returned on their original tickets, but my mother had to contact Hovannes to change her return date. He told her that she couldn't extend her Qatar ticket and would need to book with Air France instead, promising she'd get a refund for the unused Qatar ticket, minus a fine. After paying for the full return fare with Air France, my mother made her way back to the U.S., but that's when the real trouble started. Hovannes was incredibly difficult to communicate with. Every time we tried to reach him, he was either "too busy" or promised to return our call - but never did. His attitude was downright horrible. He was rude, arrogant, and lied about everything. After a year of going back and forth with him, we couldn't get any help from Qatar Airways because they said he was the agent involved and needed to resolve the issue. It's been a year now, and my mother still hasn't received her refund. It's been an absolute waste of our time. I can't stress enough how unprofessional and unhelpful this agency is. Save yourself the stress, time, and money - avoid this agency. Go with a bigger, more reputable company or book directly with an airline. I'll never deal with such a poor, unprofessional service again.

To start, I will admit I had never utilized a Travel Agency before to book a vacation. However, for…read moremy family's and I Summer vacation trip to Japan it really felt like an arduous task when I tried to do research of where to stay, visit, etc. I did not know what to expect when originally coming across L & B Travel on the app Thumbtack. When I reached out I was assigned Sebastian. From the very beginning Sebastian was extremely friendly, patient, understanding and most importantly, very knowledgeable and transparent. I initially sent him over a bullet point list of what I was looking for and details of our trip. We then scheduled a short call to discuss my trip and confirm some trip details. Very quickly thereafter Sebastian provided the initial itinerary that was extremely spot on, which made me appreciate that he listened intently and captured every single detail of my trip request. I immediately felt more relaxed knowing that Sebastian really cared about my trip and wanted to get things right, right out of the gate. As part of the itinerary that Sebastian provided, it included a phenomenal package of hotel stays, flights and tours across 3 cities in Japan at cost-effective rates. Things I would 100% not have been able to find/secure on my own. Sebastian was able to get me everything we wanted in our trip and within our budget. I could not believe it! Fast-forward to once we were in Japan... We had a tour one day to Mount Fuji and the third party company that Sebastion had procured our tour from, had delayed our tour voucher and still had not provided it as of the morning of our tour. From Japan at 8am local time, as my family and I waited outside the tour bus, with 20 minutes left before the bus would leave for the tour, I called Sebastian for his help. In less than 5 minutes he called me back and retrieved the voucher from the third party and emailed it me, so we would not miss our tour. Sebastian sprung into action immediately and saved what could have been a very disappointing day, into a day my family and I will never forget in such a wonderful way! As we were getting close to ending what had been an incredible vacation to that juncture, I reached out to Sebastian as we were gearing to heading to our final city (Osaka) in Japan for our final 3 nights, asking if he could do anything about our hotel lodging as I felt our jr. suite would be too cramped for my family of 5. Again, Sebastian sprung into action immediately and was able to pull some strings and upgrade us to a larger suite that was perfect for us AT NO ADDITIONAL COST. All in all, reaching out to L & B Travel and being fortunate enough to work with Sebastian was the best thing that could have happened to my family and I with our vacation as everything turned out beautifully, as we really had the time of our lives. That being said, I recommend L&B Travel to anyone and everyone, and I recommend Sebastian to all who are looking to plan a trip. He really knows his stuff, but you get a guy who is honest, patient, understanding, hardworking and transparent, and who did all the heavy-lifting to get my trip planned successfully.
