Couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. In both cases, the villas we got exceeded our expectations. The company was very hands on in helping us arrange airport travel, a chef, and even a pre-stocked fridge. In Playa, the local rep working with Villas Caribe took us to the supermarket, recommended her favorite restaurants, and helped us get a prime spot for a group of 10 at Diablito Cha Cha Cha. I doubt the latter "comes standard" but we appreciated the personal concierge touch. Wish they had more options in the Mediterranean but when it comes to the Caribbean, we will definitely go this route in the future.

The booking girl 'Brittany' was very helpful and cheerful. She took the details, verified the next year price with the owners and got all approved, then sent me the lease agreement paperwork. I WAS EXCITED TO BE BOOKING MY VACATION AND GOT CAUGHT IN A TECHNICALITY!!!! The agreement states a credit card fee (NO AMOUNT OR PERCENTAGE STATED) but I let my excitement miss this detail. So, I booked my vacation and charged it to my CC, along with travel insurance. When I checked back I found a 3.5% CONVENIENCE FEE!!! (AND THEY CHARGED ME MORE FOR INSURANCE THAN THE AGREEMENT STATED).. THEY STILL HAVE NOT EXPLAINED THAT!! I called back (within a few hours) and asked for the charge to be reversed and I will wire transfer the booking fee. They told me 'accounting' wont allow a reversal WITHOUT STILL CHARGING THE 3.5% FEE!!!. I am in business and know that a cc charge can always be reversed, especially since I requested a reversal within 24 hours. ANYWAY.... READ ALL THE FINE PRINT AND EXPECT ANY CHARGES TO BE MUCH HIGHER THAN EXPECTED. IF THEY CAN 'GET' YOU THEY WILL!! I am stuck with them this time but will NEVER use them again! REPEAT: 3.5% CC 'CONVENIENCE' FEE UNWILLING TO REVERSE CHARGES CHARGE MORE FOR TRAVEL INSURANCE THAN THEY STATED. Terrible way to start a vacation. Oh, yeah.... As Virginia Surety covered this claim in January of 2024 (per our Chase Sapphire Reserve benefits), my concerns aren't about a refund for myself, but (1) whether Virginia Surety has been reimbursed for the January claim payment since the damage report was canceled by SIXT on April 16, and (2) whether SIXT is potentially committing widespread insurance fraud based on various other customer reviews that are similar to my negative experience. We've stayed at margaritaville resorts in Tennessee and let me tell you there is a massive difference between a real margaritaville resort and the time share sham known as margaritaville vacation club by Wyndham. If you insist on visiting this God forsaken city, save yourself some money and stay anywhere else. It'll be a lot more relaxing. When I contacted first they they told me there was nothing that could be done to help me with the hardship in 2023. Upon my move out in 2026 I was told I could have had assistance when he passed away but that I had not reached out which was not true. So overall constant unaffordable rent increases with no incentives. Also upon moving out I was contacted multiple times asking me to stay but lowering the offered increase rent all the way down to not increasing it at all if I stayed which means to me first key never needed to do the increases and is essentially rent gauging. 2023 move in rent was $1450 for an old 3 bedroom house. 2026 rent increased to $1920. customer service was ok maintenance came out when they said. before I even moved out firstkey was advertising the home boating renovations and all new appliances which was not even offered to me to stay!! I do it recommend this corporation that buys thousands of homes barely renovated them and charged insane rental prices.
