Brea offered to do our engagement photos for free so they could get to know us. Even though we did not want engagement photos we could not pass up the fact that they were free. It was a very pleasant experience with Jessica and the photos turned out really well. Fast forward to our wedding in June of 2014: Jessica was an absolute delight to have as my photographer. I made it very clear to her that I did not want staged photos where everyone is standing perfectly all the time, and I did not want to be bombarded with photos. They took fantastic photos at our wedding and made the day even more special. The only drinks we actually ever got were personally delivered by our photographers. Since then, we have used them for every family photo session. They've taken newborn pictures, baby announcement pictures, holiday pictures, and fun special events. We get our Christmas and Easter pictures there every year, with amazing sets and often with adorable animals. We've been using Emily for pictures of our son during his first year. I wanted 3,6,9, and 12 month…read morepictures, and she was able to let me create a package that worked for what we wanted. I had shopped around quite a bit and her prices were really fair for what we were asking. There are definitely other photographers out there with lower quality work that are charging a lot more. So far we have done 3 and 6 month pictures and they are great. During our first session my son was really fussy since he was teething and hadn't had much of a nap that day. I thought for sure we wouldn't get many good pictures because he was in such a bad mood, but Emily was able to catch him smiling, and we got a lot of really cute pictures! When it was time for our 6 month pictures we had scheduled a time to meet at our home for the shoot. Again my son was having a hard time getting a good nap in, I called Emily and asked if it was possible push back 30 minutes in the hopes that we could get at least a few minutes of sleep in so he wouldn't cry during our whole session. She was really flexible and told us to just call whenever he woke up. He was able to get a good solid nap in and we really appreciated the flexibility that day. And again the pictures were amazing. She has really been able to capture his personality and us as a family together. I would recommend Emily to anyone looking for a photographer in the StL area. She has done a great job capturing our son's first year so far, and I can't wait for our next 2 sessions. We wouldn't hesitate to book more sessions with her in the future!
