This company is owned by the same guy that owns Rogue Inspection Services If this business is anywhere near the other business he owns, I would keep looking Travis Hand, the owner, says one thing, then does what fits his business the best, and leaves me, the customer hanging Try someone else, is my recommendation read more

So horrendously disappointed with this company. I had several people recommend them to take care of ants in my yard. Called and had an appt scheduled within a few days. It rained the day they were supposed to come but no one showed up or called to say they weren't coming. I called and half hearted apologies were made because they were busy and it was raining but I rescheduled for three days later. Three days later, I waited all day and I finally called at quarter to 5. They "forgot" about me and the woman on the phone couldn't get ahold of the driver. Very unsatisfied but still taking recommendation from friends I rescheduled again for 3 days later. Three days later, the guy showed up an hour late and was very in a rush. Said he was done and I paid him. A little over a week later and I still have swarms of ants. I realize they said there is no guarantee on ants but this is ridiculous!!! So unsatisfied!!! read more

History

Established in 1955.

In 1955 James Travis Sr started Travis Pest Control after going to University of Michigan for an Entomology degree. In 1995 James Sr. passed away and 2 of his 7 sons took over. James Travis Jr and Michael Travis. Thomas Travis also works for Travis Pest Control as our Mosquito manager. In the office we have James Sr. niece Shannon Soltys and his Great -Granddaughter Ayden Travis. In 65 years we have grown by leaps and bounds and now instead of a 1 man crew we have 10. The changes to our environment have brought changes to the way that we control insects. Due to the way the environment is changing Travis Pest Control will direct you to a bee keeper if honey bees are found on your property and we do everything possible to keep our honey bee population alive.

Meet the Business Owner: James T.

After Jim's father started Travis Pest Control in 1955, his sons worked for him. In 1995 when James Travis Sr passed away James Travis Jr and Michael Travis took over the business, Keeping the same business practices that made the company thrive for the first 40 years. 60 years in business and counting Travis Pest Control still strives to treat all of our customers like family. Our office staff is friendly and knowledgeable, Lou Ann and Shannon have also been around the business for years. LouAnn is married to Jim and has been working in the office for 30 years, Shannon is Jim and Mikes cousin. Before LouAnn, Shannon's mother Candy worked in the office with Sue Travis; Jim Sr's wife. Our owners are working owners so your technician will be Mike Travis, Jim Travis, or long time family friend Dave Jewell. Tom Travis is our mosquito manager. From our family to yours, the name of our company is not just a name it is our Name and we stand behind it.
