When I searched for representation, I was fortunate enough to be able to find him easily on Google and call his toll free number. What amazed me was "he" answered the call. He does have a very competent staff, yet I believe he chooses to forward the line to his mobile phone. This immediately told me he not only cares about his existing clients but he also is appreciative of new business, and we all need an attorney who is hungry and motivated to represent us. I was so pleased to actually speak with Peter and not get lost in the typical voicemail abyss or have to leave a message with a receptionist and wait for a callback. After briefly discussing my case, we set an initial meeting at his office, a few days after my call. His administrative staff are very polite and helpful and they will always call you the day before any meeting or court date to confirm the date and time. If we had known this ahead of time we would have opted for a trial instead since he had a good case to be found not guilty, but we wanted to move on and put this whole ordeal behind us so we took Brian's advice of 8-10 days in jail and then save money not going to trial. When I asked if I could have a jury trial, the judge said "I won't be your judge at trial, but I think it possible another judge would increase your alimony by $300 weekly and keep all other terms." Linda said nothing, except to tell me to take the offer. So, I spent $32,000, lost everything obtained during my marriage, and got to see my kids every other weekend.
