I spoke with a paralegal today named Miguel Rosales and he was extremely rude, he asked me the…read moreexact date for my work history, I replied by saying that I don't know the exact date but it was in the fall or winter of 2017, I said between September and December again I wasn't sure, he told me I had to give him an exact date or he couldn't proceed to the next question, he did tell me that one of the last questions was for my Social security number, I asked him if we can just proceed to the next question until the last question when he asks for my ss number so he can put my information in the computer and find out the exact date of the last time I worked, he said again he couldn't proceed and for me to just tell him a date, I said sir, this phone call is being recorded and you want me to lie and make up a date to appease you and I wasn't doing that, so he said he can't proceed with my case, talk about being frustrated , I previously contacted Atticus and filled out the questionnaire and received a text message from Fiona from Atticus, saying she recommended Hiller Comerford Injury and disability law PLLC, and then I received a text yesterday morning saying they were interested in taking my case and wanted to help me obtain benefits. So I called them right back was put on hold for 5 minutes and then prompted to leave a voicemail message so I did. I never received a call back yesterday from them, then this morning Fiona from Atticus sent me a message asking if I contacted the law firm yet , I replied I will call again and try to contact someone this time, after calling the law firm that was recommended it was honestly just frustrating to speak with Miguel Rosales, I am on a deadline to appeal within the 60 days so I don't have much time left to find an actual law firm that cares about the people and their disabilities, so I said I would just find another law firm since he wanted to go in circles. I have everything as far as medical records and documentation proving my case. I know I have a strong case but finding which attorney is difficult. It was frustrating how they deny people that really deserve it. Finally after about 2 1/2 years of fighting I finally got approved. They were with me for the whole process. Explained what could happen and gave good advice. I am so thankful that I didn't give up. There was no way I could work again and I worked full time from age 18 to 56. Not like I was trying to get stuff I didn't deserve. It was a process but in the end it was well worth it. I highly recommend them.
