I have also begun to love a lot of the New Zealand, Australian and Aboriginal fabric and this quilting store had lots to offer. Every corner I turned there was more stuff. I remember the store from a few years ago but they have definitely expanded their tastes. "Lauren" which was the gal working was very pleasant and sweet. She asked me a few times if I needed help finding anything I said noooo I have found everything I need. It was such a pleasant trip walking thru the store. Gretchen Quistgaard has done an amazing job with her shop. Lauren added to completing an enjoyment that nothing can compare.

Shop displays give lots of ideas for big & small projects even in the bathroom! Stocks notions & threads including Isacord, Aurifil, Mettler, serger thread. Some people with limited mobility might find entry steps a little difficult but hand rails are in place. Classroom is in basement. I made a potholder right before my husband passed away (it was his favorite pattern) but I couldn't finish it for the past 3 1/2 years because I couldn't find the thread that I needed. I spent quite a bit of time happily perusing all the wonderful and unique fabrics. And then I discovered her FABRIC PANEL LIBRARY... I was absolutely astounded by how HUGE it is and by all the beautiful designs available. It's basically a treasure hunt, except the treasure is FABRIC--and I am very easily distracted by fabric. I often catch Scarlett on Whatnot, so it was especially fun to finally walk into her shop and see all the magic in person. She has an amazing selection of unique books, notions, and pretty much every fabric design you could possibly imagine. There is something exciting around every corner! The whole shop is a treasure trove of creativity, color, and fun. I could have stayed for hours... and, judging by my shopping, apparently I did!
