My girl spotted a large pail with a mirror in it - designed to be mounted on a wall. It had a great patina on it and she loves eclectic things like that. I also picked up a repro-antique of a carousel horse / tricycle. The back of the cavernous place was filled with CHristmas stuff and the front of the place was stocked with inflatable Christmas decor and backyard furniture. My only negative remark is the fact that do NOT accept plastic - ATM or credit cards, so we had to find an ATM machine and withdraw cash. They do not accept checks either. I guess you could call the place, "Cash & Carry." Lots of neat stuff to be found here.

I have been shopping at Endless Deals for several years and spent thousands in their store…read more Recently I purchased what I thought was a stained/etched glass piece for $200. When I got it home I realized it was only lacquered paint on the glass and when I went to remove the tape from it where the price tag was placed on it, the paint began to peel off and fell to the floor in large areas. I took it back the very next business day to show what had happened and the owner/employee refused to stand good for the product. It had been hanging outdoors on the covered entrance for nearly a year, and I suspect the heat of summer months and then the freezing and thawing of cold winter months had caused the paint to deteriorate, and when brought inside to room temperature the paint began to crack and peel in large areas, thus ruining the piece. The employee made it clear there are no refunds. I asked for store credit instead, but she also declined that, treating me like some joe blow who was trying to rip them off. I left the store and left the piece there as it was of no value at all with the paint chipping off in large areas. I have pictures of it. I will not ever return to this store.

I bought popcorn on the way in, and it was indeed good. Very clean, and alot of shops to wander around in. I went straight into the quilt shop and bought some beautiful material. I plan on making some pillows in the near future. Wow the quilting shop was one for the books, I could have stayed in there for hrs. So many crafting ideas and nice material. They ladies do offer classes, or can tell you who does in the area. They have antique shops, puzzle store, cook ware, toy store, decor and food for purchase. Im sure I missed a few things. This is a must stop if your in the area. All the shops seemed amazing and reasonable priced. Lots of parking, and everyone was welcoming. I met a few fellow antique collectors along the way.

Traveling from DC on route 11 one late afternoon .. stop by the Longs Antique Shop for quick visit…read more.. on my Right up the drive stands this lovely huge old brick Historic Home with a lovely long yard with a wrap around porch to oversee Spring Hay Growing in the fields ... towards the backside of the home the Antique Shop is in full site.. to see a large porch with a selection of iron garden fences, iron urns .. along with primitive furniture once entering the shop.. I could not believe the selection of antiques furniture in old paint, old finish, .. Corner cupboards, Pie Safes, Blankets Chest etc just unbelievable ....looking on top , inside and around the furniture you will view the most beautiful decorated valley stoneware and between all the stoneware are local Baskets .. I could not believe under one roof all these lost treasures of the Shenandoah Valley.. Furniture decorated with accessories to move directly into your home ...the shop is professional decorated with love .. I could have spent hours looking, studying the information on each item.. The prices seemed very fair. I found an all leather jacket for about $25. I unfortunately didn't find anything that I was interested in, but it was fun to walk around and look at all the items. It feels and is filled with more thrift items then antiques. We went around the store, and found very little high quality items. Amongst the many antique stores we went to on the Shenandoah Antique Trail, this was probably my least favorite. If you're looking for cheap secondhand home goods, Id definitely go here. If you're looking for cheap items to craft with, I'd definitely go here. If you're looking for stuff that's older than 20-30 years old - I'd probably seek out other stores.
