It's great for a long weekend or something longer, and the rooms are spacious and clean. It is a 5 minute walk from Weymouth centre, and the walk couldn't get much better on a summers day. The only problem I have with this hotel, is that in the space of 1 year, the price has gone up steadily from around £50 a night, to £65. The hotel has also been extended twice, but its still sometimes quite difficult to make a reservation here. It seems to be extremely popular. This hotel is highly recommended by me.

There is a wide choice of rooms from doubles upto family rooms that sleep 5, all ensuite and have tv/dvd and tea and coffee making facilities. some rooms (those to the front) also have sea views. the bnb is right on the sea front offering dramatic views of the coastline. there is permit parking available, which is a bonus as parking in weymouth in the summer can be a pain. there is also a private bar with pool table and tv for guest use. We have booked for easter with some friends and cannot wait to see the owners again. They have a basement bar for the guests and if you are lucky the parrot says hello which the kids think is great.

I reserved this place because it said it was the only hotel in area that had its own parking. It…read moresaid it was available if booking directly with their website, which I did only to find out their were only 5 spaces and they were used. Parking meters and lots required you to leave a 8 am then if you fed the meters out front, you only get an hour. We were still jet lagged so that was very disruptive. I saw other cars had permits to park on the street without paying from hotels. My recommendation is if you drive to find a different hotel. Nothing special about this one in the least to make it worth it.
