The rooms are functional and a plus is certainly the huge closet with plenty of hangers (one of my pet peeves is that a lot of hotels have about three hangers, where are you supposed to hang your clothes) plus the big full length mirrors with good day light. I absolutely love the breakfast room with view on the frozen lake and the selection is quite good. The quality of the food in the buffet is great and I love you can have your eggs cooked by the chef. But most importantly the service is always great, the team is always friendly and willing to help. Only downside I would say that it get's pricey on busy weekends and that the room has no iron (but they offer reasonable priced and quick iron service in house). Would recommend!

From the outside this hotel looks like it will be of the charming old world sort but the interior is anything but. Everything is modern, well designed and stylish. The rooms are well appointed with every amenity you can imagine and anything you need is one call away. I really appreciated how many snacks and drinks were provided by the hotel just for staying (especially the complimentary champagne on arrival!) All Grace rooms have AC but it takes a hot minute to cool. Only some of the room on the La Margna are ACed. All room in both the Grace and La Margna sides are completely renovated and beautiful. I stay on the La Margna side and even though I'm upgraded to an AC room, I never use it. I leave the window open/cracked. Restaurant is delicious but make reservation during high season.

Don't use Google Maps because it'll make you go around the station, through a tunnel, cross streets that will take you farther from where you need to go be. It made us walk for 30 minutes! Good thing we had our luggage sent to our next destination and all we had were backpacks. The location is spectacular. Aside from being close to the train station, it's on a hill next to the lake with breathtaking views of mountains in the backdrop. I enjoyed soaking in the views in the morning before going on an adventure and at night when I'm ready to rest. Next to the lobby is a restaurant with the same views. Our stay included breakfast. We didn't get to eat here since our days were packed. But the nicest touch was they packed us breakfast with iced tea, bottled water, chocolate wafer, a big and thick sandwich, hardboiled eggs and fresh fruits. The room was spacious and clean. Slippers provided. The bed was comfy. I had restful sleep at night. It was quiet my whole stay.

Such as have signs of special Champagne offered in the bar at a certain time, it comes across as gratis but it is not $15 per glass. Only other complaint is bed is a bit hard and pillows are not substantial, basically clouds. We really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast it's was beautiful and delicious and the lady that worked there was so wonderful.
