The complex had plenty of parking for us on a Saturday morning. They started with a scale analysis and then the fun part. We upgraded to the carbonated water. Came here for the head spa service I found on Groupon. It was a great deal about $106 for two people for 90 minutes. They also have cute snacks. We appointment by calling in and we were able to get one for 7:30 pm the same day. When we started she did the scalp analysis and then we changed into these towels. The head massage was so relaxing. I think she washed like 3 times but the massage was amazing I got chills. The whole experience was great they used dysons to dry hair. read more

i had an appointment on a weekday morning for two scalp massages. there is a very good deal on groupon that the owner will price match with if you do not buy through there. the parking lot is tight but it seems there is a lower level for additional spots. it is like a classic asian salon on the inside with the addition of the scalp treatments. appointments are needed. i believe the owner and another employee attended to my friend and i. be warned that the owner will try to persuade you to upgraded to more services. the other staff member helped me and was very kind. their english is limited though. they also blow dry and straighten your hair at the end. i think it was about $40 without tip for the 60 minute service. it is affordable and budget friendly. read more

The effort to create a calming environment was there and the two main employees are very friendly. There is still a mom and pop vibe and the owner (I think) offered a hair cut for returning customers with 5 dollars off. I decided to return to try them out and it was a decent hair cut. She explained what she thought would look good with my face shape and I nodded off a few times. I also got my hair washed prior to the cut. Came here on a weekday afternoon so it wasn't busy at all! I called ahead to make an appointment for the 60-minute signature head spa treatment with head and scalp massage. They start off with a scalp assessment by taking a microscopic camera view of your scalp. I came in with unwashed, oily hair and the camera didn't lie! My scalp tech pointed out the oil clogged hair follicles and thus recommended the Carbonated Scalp Wash add-on. The ladies were so nice and gave me a discount on the add-on ($15, normally $30)! Then they take you to a sectioned off portion to change into their towel wrap top. They place a heated eye mask on you while you lay on a massage table that kneads your lower back. And then the magic begins - the scalp treatment! The extensive washing and head scritches were A+! It's like getting your hair washed at a salon x10 because it's a whole hour's worth of scalp massaging! For those on social media, I'm sure you've seen the infamous "rainfall wash" - gold halo device they put your head under. Well, the experience was heavenly as it looks! The shoulder massage that's included was also much appreciated. Afterwards they take you back to the salon chair to dry your hair with a Dyson hairdryer. This is where I had to remove a star because I felt like they would hold the blow dryer way too close to the scalp. Like ma'am, my scalp has been THROUGH it today - it was scrubbed so clean and vulnerable, why are you now almost BURNING my scalp?! So yes, to my sensitive scalp people, I advise you to speak up if you experience this! No amount of chili cheese Fritos and bottled water they offered me would've spared me from this blowtorch of a hairdryer. To finish, they straighten your hair with a flatiron - no curls or swoops, just...straightened. They then use their microscopic camera again on your scalp to show you the results of your cleaning. Oil, gone! Dandruff, gone! You are left with a shiny, clean scalp. And I'd do it all again. read more

I have tailbone length hair (will update w/ a before & after pic next visit) that is high maintenance, especially considering my scalp issues. Nonetheless, it's been a low energy week so I decided to accommodate myself with a head spa. I left feeling like my head was lighter (I didn't realize how much product buildup and oils weighed me down), and silky smooth hair! I'm happy I went with the 90 min option; every time I thought the scalp scrubbing might end soon, they came in with more layers of scrubbing! I was pleasantly surprised by the shoulder and back massage. Lina could feel that I was getting tense at certain points, so she cued me to relax and let her know to adjust the pressure. The ambiance is cozy. We began by me changing into a strapless towel wrap on top, exposing my shoulders and upper back for the massage. I was laid on a bed with massagers along my back, and a bolster under my legs, which took out the curve in my low back and allowed it to rest against the surface. I was also given a heated eye mask to wear the whole time. Multiple different tools were used during the process, and my favorite was the fine tooth comb and stone massager (that looks like a spork lol). Calming ambient music played the whole time, and it was satisfying to hear the water and soap sounds. I drifted in and out of sleep towards the end. I highly recommend everyone, especially those with super long hair that's a hassle to clean, to try this out! IF YOU HAVE A NEW EAR PIERCING, ESPECIALLY CARTILAGE, I recommend waiting until it's mostly or fully healed before coming. The nature of the service will get your ears soapy and wet at times, as well as rolling your head over to the sides. She seems to hate EVERY hair stylist we try. Lena handled my scalp treatment and shoulder massage. I noticed a big difference afterwards. My scalp didn't feel as itchy, dry.
