Their pieces are quite nice, I browsed the store a bit and saw numerous things that I know my mom would like. When I looked at the price tags, I was a bit floored! I didn't see anything under $100, except the items that were on sale. I asked about a gift card at the til, the lady didn't seem to want to deal with me. So I decided to think about this place before I spent any money here. I know my mom would like this store, they had some very classy, stylish clothing! I think it is a place to check out if money isn't an obstacle and you are a 50 year old woman looking for some timeless pieces.

Retrieved all my clothes recently when I couldn't get a balance on my account after several attempts. I was told yesterday, that even though those clothes/accessories had sold, they had "expired" long ago and therefore NO balance was owing to me. For the record, I extended the time twice (once they extended it themselves-noted on an email- as their system was down and they were transitioning to a new system). My clothes and accessories were featured prominently on their website, on their mannequins, in their window displays and modelled/featured many many times on instagram, and I could see when some sold - so I question that they were "expired" as obviously they were very much still sellable. Regardless, they sold my items recently or in the last 3 months (many designer - Kate Spade, Club Monaco, Aritzia, BCBG, etc.) and kept 100% of the proceeds - sending me a pittance apparently for items that sold prior to expiry . Do not consign with this new owner! If you currently do - I would pull my stuff from that store and demand a full accounting of the transactions. I will be filling a complaint with the BBB this week. I had to give it a 1 start in order to post this review - but this new owner does not deserve any.

Brought the bag in to Cross Iron Coach where I bought it - the sales associate was very nice but she had to go and get a manager to approve the return. Fine. I got nothing but attitude from the female manager although I have 100 of their bags and never had to make 1 return, ever. She kept wanting to have it send out for repair, wanted to make me home office's issue for a greater profit return on my benefit, blah blah and soured me on getting a credit towards a new bag. I get it, you do not want to lose the sales number but life is life. I finally got my refund back onto my Visa and left. Not a good day Coach, but I still love you, minus that 1 manager.

It's for the vintage, and heritage line leather bags that made Coach so famous 40+ years ago. As well as for the silk scarves, colourful umbrellas, fabulous shoes and boots and chic costume jewelry. And when the real items, from the full priced stores hit an outlet at 60%... well now, I love it!! Oh - and I am also addicted to the adorable key chains! I probably have 20!

Shops like Brooklyn, Henry, Bloke Clothing among others, as far as I know the only boutique style store that has closed because of the recession is Smyth and Kang. More to the point, Leo Boutique is great, has many brands and styles not often found in Canada such as Acne, but also featuring more common up and coming brands such as Nudie and Cheap Mondays and other great Swedish brands.
