Reservations required. Michelin Bib Gourmand.
I had lunch here on a weekday. Service was mid, but each dish was so tasty. Starting with a tinto de verano, it was pretty good but more expensive at 5 euros. I read from the Michelin website that the chef is known for the iconic torrezno and taco with Latin American influences. Naturally I ordered those two as well as the sandwich and callos from the "siempre" menu. From "lo de hoy", I tried the short rib and sea bass. For dessert I got the torta de queso.
What I found interesting is they remove used silverware and prepare new ones between dishes. The torrezno is 3 euros per piece, so I recommend ordering one per person. The half order of sandwich comes with two pieces; the full order comes with four pieces. The sea bass and short rib were served individually; each person had his own plate. The callos was last to be served, but before dessert of course.
This is a restaurant I would come back to visit and highly recommend. I love that they offer half portions because I just like to try various dishes without getting too full. Torrezno is definitely something to try here. read more
