However, I was unaware that my progressive lenses were priced differently. I was told my bill would be $500,00. I made the purchase but later returned the glasses after several adjustments that were not satisfactory. My charges were refunded and I made a purchase at Costco for $300,00. I recently saw a TV ad stating you can buy glasses and lenses for $95.00. I believe WP should correct their TV ad to state you cannot buy glasses and progressive lenses for $95.00.

The office kept leaving messages on my old land line, based on paperwork filled out over 5 years ago, despite me filling out new paperwork with my cell #. 4. I received a pre-printed bill for my co-pay and when I sent it in it was returned "no such address". Other notable items are the eye chart used for exams being a tilted reflection of a computer monitor in a mirror that needed cleaning and the run-down condition of the exam room. I had a 2:15 appointment today (3/14/24) for a laser trabeculotomy for glaucoma. I arrived a few minutes before 2:15 to find the waiting room (10- 12 chairs) completely filled. When I checked in, I asked the receptionist how late Dr. Marano was running. She said 30-45 minutes. I sat down. At about the 30 minute mark, I queried a couple of fellow patients, also waiting for Marano, and asked if this was typical. They both said "Oh yes. You should see the Livingston office. It's much worse". I have never waited more than 10-15 minutes for Dr. Merin Abraham before. At 50 minutes, with the waiting room still full, I walked out. I realize that medical doctors occasionally get a patient that takes unexpectedly long with a patient or two, resulting in a longer than usual wait, but I do not believe that to be the case here. I believe that Marano doesn't give a hoot how long his patients have to wait. He apparently routinely grossly overbooks, so as to squeeze the most money out of his days at each of his offices. This is a small hidden place…read more.. By far the most helpful, best doctor I have ever been to. I went dr. Kanoff before, he just did my prescription, and sent me on my way. The contacts he gave me were always horrible. I tried telling him but he would just say my prescription is hard to match. However, this doctor took the time to check the SHAPE of my eyes. She explained the my right eye is different from my left, and prescribed the CORRECT fitting lenses. She's great.
