I was getting pricing on a right axle, and not only was he transparent and knowledgeable, but he was also able to order the parts and accommodate me the same day. The cost was significantly lower than what the dealership quoted, which was a huge relief. What really stood out was the level of customer service. Because of how well I was treated, I didn't hesitate to schedule another appointment with him that same week to take care of my brake flush, brakes, rotors, & engine filter. Mike truly understands how to treat people and build trust within the Brentwood community--something that's becoming harder to find these days. Both times, their staff has been empathetic, upfront on repair options and very responsive to calls and follow up. I'd recommend them to anyone in the Brentwood area needing a mechanic. I haven't had to do a lot of car repairs since moving to Brentwood, so I can't compare costs. It will be a while before I'm back, having recently purchased a newer (used) vehicle but I'd definitely use them again when the time comes. Came for an oil change last week & realized its a Havoline/Chevron shop now (was pennzoil before) which I thought was really cool & cool looking. I was guided in buy a tech named Joe, went over prices with me & chose the synthetic oil which was way cheaper than oil can henrys. He advised me of my fluids & other services my vehicle may need & I really appreciated that because other shops never told me therefore I didn't know about stuff my car needed. The whole crew is nice & know what they are doing. The manager Joe & assistant manager Sal made me feel very welcome and gained a customer for life love this place!!!! free carwash cant go wrong with that, great service at auto spa as well!!!!!!!! read more

The service and work they do is good. I took my hybrid in and they told me I need a synthetic oil change, which I was fine with. But I later found out that the dealership charges way less than they do, probably half of what they charge. Work is good but prices are high. read more

I have watched the service here deteriorate to a point where I will not go back. My four Honda's will now be serviced at the Oil Can Henry's in Oakley. When I voiced my dissatisfaction with the manager, he seemed completely disinterested. I will never go back. read more

A pretty unprofessional shop. They don't change the oil filters on about half the cars they work on, and don't buy the engine flush. you can run a quart of oil through your car, and get the same results. read more

In September 2025, I was steered to this shop by a AAA-contracted tow truck driver who strongly recommended it over a AAA-approved facility. I later realized this may have been a referral with personal incentives -- a red flag in any service industry. The shop diagnosed my car and quoted nearly $1,200 in repairs, demanded cash only, and refused to take a credit card for the diagnostic fee. That alone raises serious concerns about transparency and accountability. This wasn't my first bad experience with Millennium. Back in 2021, the same technician exposed wiring and suggested vague electrical issues that felt like a setup for unnecessary diagnostics. I recently discovered that Millennium Auto Care was formally accused by the California Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) in 2018 for violations including: Charging for parts not replaced Performing unauthorized repairs Failing to return replaced parts (Source: BAR Accusation Document) This is public record and speaks to a pattern of behavior that matches what I experienced. I've since taken my car to a AAA-approved shop that was transparent, professional, and backed by warranty. I'm sharing this to help others avoid being misled. Always verify shop credentials, check BAR licensing, and don't let tow drivers decide where your car goes -- especially if the shop isn't AAA-approved. He let me know the tires weren't currently in stock but assured me he would get them as quickly as possible. Sal had the tires delivered in less than five hours and was able to get me in right away. I seem to have the worst luck when it comes to auto mechanics. Let me preface this review with the…read morefact I am not implying that this mechanic is a lousy mechanic. Simply put, this particular experience warrants a poor review. For some time, my car had a barely noticeable oil leak from a bad oil pressure switch sensor, and I just couldn't find the time to crawl under there and swap it out. Unrelated to the oil leak, my temperature warning light came on during my commute to work. Victor was able to book me in the next day. Again, chronically short on time, juggling a very busy schedule, I saw it fit to just let a professional take a look, diagnose and repair the car. This shop came highly recommended by several friends. I dropped the car off first thing in the morning. Later that evening he finished up with the car. According to his diagnosis, the radiator cap was broken, and was leaking fluid causing the engine to overheat. He replaced the cap and the oil sensor. I was billed $240 for about an hour of his time/labor($180/hr), a radiator cap ($8 at auto zone), and the oil sensor ($23 at auto zone) plus a top off of coolant. The price was fair. Could I have done it myself and saved $180? Yes. Not the point. The very next day, after having the problem "diagnosed and fixed", my car overheats again. This time, considerably farther from home and power loss experienced. The tow was quoted at $900. Needless to say, I didn't pay for a tow. I was able to limp the car off the freeway and down to the closest parts store and get some coolant. After allowing the engine to cool off I opened the cap; Bone dry. So the leak had not been addressed and remains unaddressed. To sum up, I paid to have the car diagnosed. Understandably not all problems manifest, and may require a second look. However, I do feel, that as a service provider, it is one's responsibility to be completely thorough. It seems to be that the inspection was either rushed or just not comprehensive enough. This left a sour taste and I just don't want to hassle with forking out for yet another failed attempt to fix the car. I guess the lesson is, that one should make time, instead of paying for the luxury of someone else's time.
