Jason and his son went above and over the top in rescuing my wife's car. She and her girlfriend decided to go up to see the Trinity Lakes and bottomed out on a huge rock in the road. Hole in the oil pan. My wife called around to get a tow off the mountain. Jason accepted the challenge (no one else would attempt going up there!) Jason took his son, along with his Jeep and they towed the car to a suitable location to attach her car to the truck. This all happened on a SUNDAY!!! Tried charging me $1,500 for a Rack & Pinion that costs $900 at auto zone, GTFOH, they also talk shit about customers and their vehicles with a lobby of people. I will NEVER go back to them. I was traveling through Mountain Home area from Louisiana when a fuel line started leaking on my 2012 F250 diesel a little before 8 am. I was able to drive it to this shop. A mechanic on duty informed me that he had a used line on on an old motor. He pulled the line off of the old motor but said his boss wouldn't let him work on my truck until he finished a "locals" truck and then that would be a maybe so. I asked if I could buy the line and change it myself. The owner then stated that he wasn't sure he wanted to sell the line. I called the FORD dealership and they got me one out of Boise by 2:30 in the afternoon. I ended up changing it myself in a parking lot but the owner could have saved me a lot of time and could have replaced the line with a new one the next day knowing he wouldn't need that line. If FORD hadn't had the means to get me a line in 6 1/2 hours, this man would have had me sit for an extra day because he didn't want to sell someone 1,800 miles from home a used fuel line. My husband's truck broke down last weekend in Mountain Home, On Monday, he was back out working at the base and called AAA to have it towed home to Kuna. These guys were absolutely amazing. They got there within 15 minutes loaded up and when they dropped it off they did the absolute best they could to put it where he wanted it. They even offered to help him push it to prlercisely the exact spot he wanted it. Hopefully we don't need the service again but if we do they would be our first call! Thanks guys!!!!! read more

AWESOME!!! I called because I had a flat tire on my car trailer. He said they could fix it if I got there before they closed. It was close so I told them I would try my best. I showed up they had a tech with a jack and the tools standing at the garage door. Popped it off and within 10 minutes I was back on the road. Way better service than the big national store. These guys came and towed our truck and trailer from a gas station we broke down at 30 miles away, dropped us and our trailer at a Great RV Park then got to work on the truck. For what they do, these guys rock! While they work on diesel, motor homes. RV, etc, they were sent to us by Good Sam when we had a wheel bearing failure on our fifth wheel outside Mountain Home, ID. Mike diagnosed the problem as bearing failure affecting the hub and axle spline requiring a new axle. We couldn't tow as the other axle with full weight caused the remaining well to rub on the undercarriage. They tried to find someone to carry our RV to the shop and no one would. They returned to us and came up with a solution using a 4x4 to support the good axle. They worked after hours to remove our axle and shipped to the nearest Dexter facility. And when they received a new axle late Friday night, they assembled it on Saturday morning because the factory had not, then installed Saturday afternoon when the shop was closed. Kudos to Jason, Mike and the boys for going above and beyond. read more

Tri-County Towing and Repair gets 5 stars from our family! When our car wouldn't start on a 102 degree day, Mike, the tow truck operator came right away. He was fast, knowledgeable, and friendly and there was plenty of room in his air conditioned truck for our family of four. He even offered to take us to a hotel, if that was needed. Thankfully, it was just a dead battery. The shop had our car tested, ran out for a new battery, and had it installed in just about an hour. The cost was extremely fair and we (and other customers being served) were treated with respect and integrity. Thank you, Mike, and Tri-County! read more

Tri-County Repair are amazing! Robby came to an RV park for a service call on our vehicle. It was our first trip out in our new motor home and we had not been able to get the hot water working. He determined, eventually, after a lengthy telephone conversation with the manufacturer of our tankless water heater that in fact the manual included in our package was for a completely different system!!! Further inspection proved that not only were we using the wrong manual, but the system was faulty to begin with! He was so efficient, patience, pleasant and thorough and really tried to advocate for us with the manufacturer. So while he was not able to provide an immediate solution to our situation we believe he deserves high praise for what he WAS able to achieve. Thanks, Robby!!!! Our kitchen slide quit working. We arrived at Mountain Home RV park. The office recommended Tri County Repair. Bill was our technician. He was so great to work with. We had to put a new motor in ,which he installed. We really need the second motor but the insurance company wouldn't approve it. So we are waiting for that one to fail. It was a great experience to work with this company. We will definitely use them again if we need to. read more

Wow, did these guys save our a**! Totally unfamiliar with Idaho and driving back home from Jackson, WY to Washington, we encountered the worst white out conditions we've ever seen (and we spend a lot of time playing in the mountains!). Snow drifts 3-4 ft high on the mountain coming over Mountain Home, signs were almost buried by the snow...well, we went right off the road into a huge snow drift, getting ourselves thoroughly stranded in a blizzard. Thank god we had service, called AAA, and they set us up with another local towing company. After waiting a while, those guys bailed, saying too bad, they couldn't get to us after the road had been closed and the white out conditions had worsened; even the sheriff couldn't get up to us. We were doing our best to dig our car out when AAA called us and let us know Tri County was coming for us, sending their off-road vehicles to come find us and get us down to the wrecker. When they found us (we had finally been pulled out by a snow plow but couldn't really drive our vehicle due to damage) they followed us at 5 mph for about an hour to make sure we were safe (as we fishtailed around the barely visible road) until we got to the wrecker and they were able to load us up, then drove us an HOUR to Boise, where our hotel reservation was. Tri county told us they weren't leaving that mountain until they knew we had gotten down safe- and thank god, because that other company left us high and dry. We may have been totally buried by morning. Gulp. Mind you, of course this was all in the middle of the night, too- I think we checked in to our hotel sometime around 2-3am. Tri county, you guys turned what could've been a nightmare into a little 3 hour delay. Y'all are badass and we are so thankful for your willingness to come after us when no one else would! Yelpers, do yourself a favor and give these guys a call the next time you need any saving; Tri County are the heroes Idaho deserves. read more

Our truck wasn't performing as it should so we called late at night and was able to speak to the owner. First thing in the morning his mechanic was working on it.
