They were very sweet with my fearful dog as well as my toddlers. Nails were quickly clipped and paw pads cleaned up where they were punctured. In and out in less than 10 minutes. A different place I had called initially was telling me they would have to put him under anesthesia and pay an emergency visit fee before they even saw how minimally ingrown they were. Really appreciate a vet that evaluates and charges appropriately!!

No hard sell from either of these professionals but they do make sure that the clients are aware of the preventative medications, etc. I've had several experiences with Dr. Fouts (from euthanizing a very sick cat to routine puppy care) and each time I feel she has taken care of both the animal and the human caretaker! Earlier this year, I had to rush Smoochie to an emergency vet after hours because she was peeing blood. That clinic told me all her blood tests were bad and that she had kidney stones(they were able to remove). When Dr. Becker reviewed the records, she immediately noticed they had entered her as a dog instead of a guinea pig. She took the time to explain everything clearly and reassured me when I was overwhelmed with worry. Smoochie kept peeing blood whenever she wasn't on antibiotics and pain medication, so we decided together that the most compassionate option was to spay her. I knew Smoochie was in the very best hands, and Dr. Becker's kindness and skill made such a difference during that stressful time. Even after surgery, Smoochie continued having issues, and Dr. Becker came in on her day off to help with her care. That alone speaks volumes about her dedication. She walked me through every option with so much patience and never made me feel rushed or judged. Ultimately, we decided to focus on keeping Smoochie comfortable and managing her pain until her body is ready to let go, and Dr. Becker has continued to support me with compassion and honesty every step of the way. She came in on her off day once for an emergency and She has personally called me to talk through Smoochie's care plans, and that level of follow-up and empathy is something you don't find everywhere. I also want to mention the wonderful girl at the front I believe her name is Gabby, who has always been so kind and welcoming. She is the only person who has consistently called me back, helped me get squeezed in for urgent appointments, and made sure we were taken care of. They have made some of the hardest times as a pet parent feel easier and less lonely. Firstly, they do not take into consideration the ability of people to pay for services and instead use guilt to induce people to continue to pay for care even in cases where there is little to no quality of life for the animal or where he believes he could get a few extra dollars. He recently treated a cat, charged a few over a thousand-yes I said thousand. Then sent the cat home without instruction for care, since he doesn't offer after hours care. Meanwhile the cat got significantly worse, when owner returned the animal due to severe issue ( the very next day) he blamed the owner when the cat passed for not monitoring constantly without having given any instruction. Shifting his responsibility to a grieving owner. What a lack of professionalism. Meanwhile he didn't lack charging additionally. Dr. Bricker has a great humor while also knowing when to be serious and brainstorm diagnosis, treatment, and options. We changed vets from a Marion practice to this vet 15mins away because we believe them to be superior. I served on the Marion-Grant County Humane Society board of directors for about eight years. Dr. Pearson worked closely with us and our animals offering her expertise and services either at cost or pro-bono. The technology available here is an unexpected surprise for such a rural community and their expertise is among the best in Grant County. They worked with us on payment arrangements for services we couldn't afford immediately as long as we made agreed-upon payments.
