Blue Ridge, GA , is known for its awesome fly fishing environment. I myself have never had the opportunity to try this activity, but am so intrigued by the culture built around this sport. Kyle was informative and very knowledgeable as well as friendly. If felt like I wanted to "hang"! This is a nice shop with state on the art equipment. Although a bit small with a limited selection, Kyle said he had more options if ordering was necessary. The company offers guided fishing tours with the guarantee of a fun filled local fishing experience. The reviews on Yelp seem to reflect this outcome. Andrew is so very kind, and really made sure i was ready for anything. i walked into this knowing very, very little about kayaks at all, but when i left i felt prepared to handle it on my own. he even took the time to help me load it on my car, and he showed me how to tie it down safely. not only does the store have a great kayak selection, but it also has live crickets, fishing gear, rods, reels, coolers, kayak accessories, paddles, life vest, paddle boards, canoes, and my personal favorite... ice cream! i 100/10 recommend buying a kayak from Lake Blue Ridge Outfitters even if it's a long drive. it's worth it!
