I hate to give 1 star because we used to love this place, however the service has gone down hill. We were greeted with an attitude, told to go find a table and then out waiter had a "whatever" attitude. Food is great. We try to stop in every time we're in the area. I know everybody always talks about the burgers, and I've had them before and they're perfectly fine, but for me the real star of the menu is the Cajun Stuffed Flounder. It's always perfectly cooked with just the right amount of spice. Tack on a corn fritters app and you've got my standard order (although the jalapeño poppers run a close second on the app menu). It can get crowded, and sometimes service can be a bit slow, but it's always worth the visit, and I usually leave with some leftovers for the next day too. read more

I've been coming here for almost 20 years. I've never had a bad time and even when the beer got to me once, there was no issues are anything from the ownership. These are good dudes. The food is pretty good, standard pub fare, although some of the specials can really be very good. The bar crowd is very local, never any trouble, and not the type to make outsiders feel unwelcomed. My wife and I used to go very often, several times a week, and never had a bad time. Tom even has helped with gift certificates to a local charity we were involved in. If you are contemplating going, do so. Good grub, cold drinks, and good service. There is no fly issue ffs. read more

I think Elita L.'s review was pretty much spot-on: looks very much like a dump from outside, and you have to walk through the bar/lobby room to get to the dining area, which is a bit cramped and looks a lot like your parents' basement, though it has a greenhouse-like window on one side. The waitresses have been there a while, know the regulars well, and seem well prepared to handle most any situation. One of them saved me from being a bit too experimental and ordering a bad combination of ingredients. The menu is diner fare and priced similarly, but the main draw is their burgers, which range from $5.50 for a 1/4-lb. to $6.50 for a 1/2-lb. to start, with fries and a pickle spear. The add-ons are where they kill you: you can pay another $1.00 for "pizza" style sauce and mozzarella, or $0.50 for lettuce, etc. I got a 1/2-lib. pizza burger, which was tasty but overcooked (I'd asked for medium-well, and my burger was crispy on the outside). And a word to the wise: don't go crazy on the soft drinks. They cost $3 each, and there are no free refills. read more

I have been going here for years, my father was a cop down the road at range. Place is a dive but food is incredible. Never had a bad meal there. You can't go wrong with their burgers. Went downhill Mussels were old and mushy, burger was undercooked and my friend could hardly make it to the toilet when she got home from the so called chicken parm the waitress instead of apologizing and trying to fix it said "Ive never had any complaints..even though the mussels or burgers were barely touched she offered no discount.. My wife & I stopped in here for dinner today & we were very glad that we did. I had the large marinated burger & the wife had a chicken ceasar salad. The burger was just amazing. HUGE!!...a meal & a half in itself. The chicken ceasar salad was excellent as well. Our bill came to just under $25!!...where else are you going to get dinner for two at that price? The staff was pleasant & attentive as well. The retro vibe of this place was really cool too. I felt as if I had stepped back into 1969....please don't "modernize" this place..it's perfect the way that it is. We will most certainly return, & we will add The Triangle to our small, but selective rotation of eatery's. Great place !! read more

Visiting Long Island I decided to visit the Triangle Pub. I know my husband and his friends use to stop there for a beer once in awhile. I should have gone elsewhere. The service was adequate, but not great. I ordered a pastrami sandwich, I am not sure what I got, but it was not pastrami! It was dry, and had none of the characteristics of real pastrami: the fat lines, crisp edges. Picture a slice of baked ham, that is what I received I also believe it was heated up in the microwave. My husband ordered a "famous" burger, meh! He asked for it medium rare, it come almost well done. The fries were tasteless and a bit soggy. I gave a star for the nice cold beer and for them taking my sandwich off the bill. read more

Excellent food for a great price! The decor is outdated, but that's not what we go there for. Staff is nice too. This is a local spot made for regulars. It's a biker bar of sorts but also a family friendly restaurant. This isn't some new age gastropub. This is old school. We usually split an order of wings and a burger. The portions are big and properly cooked. Burgers customized on a kaiser roll and wings with choice of mild or spicy with homemade blue cheese. Their menu expands far further than these two items, but we haven't tried anything else. The place has been around forever with good reason. We have yet to leave unhappy and we will be back soon. read more

Another great meal last night. It was my wife's birthday and she wanted to stay in so we ordered takeout. When we order takeout the order is always correct and still warm when we get it home. When we dine at the pub the service and atmosphere are always top notch. My wife and kids love the marinated burger and I'm crazy for the marinated steak tips and jambalaya.
