I wanted to share a note of caution regarding Triathlete Sports. While the prices are competitive with other stores, and their products are satisfactory, their online store lacks a paid return policy. This means return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility, and these costs can be significant depending on your location. Any potential savings on the initial purchase may be negated by this policy. I would only recommend purchasing from here only if you're looking for a specific item that is unavailable elsewhere and cannot be found from an online store with a paid return policy. Or you are certain of your size. I hope they reconsider their policies and change .. and help the customer by passing down their savings on brick-and-mortar cost costs. 20 dollars to return the shoes was a bit much to take in stride. I ordered a size up in my running shoe as I always do, but the Hoka's I chose were too big. When I called the company to initiate the exchange, the rep told me that they ALREADY knew this about this particular model... I asked if it was on the site and I'd missed it, but he said no. Then he told me that they wouldn't pay for my shoes to be shipped back. The shipping fee ended up being $18 and I wrote on the box, telling them if they wouldn't cover this, they shouldn't bother to send me the other size. Very disappointing. read more

Great service, great knowledgeable staff I had a problem with sizing for a pair of shoes given as a gift. Customer service was super helpful and expedited shipping on the replacement pair. I did have to pay return shipping (as clearly stated in terms) but they processed the return quickly. This is a local store, staffed by people who know about what they sell and take care of customers near and far. I'm not sure why bad reviews, but my experience has been very positive. read more

I ordered a tri bag from their website. They did not have pictures of the interior so I could not be sure what I was getting but the price was right so I went ahead. Big mistake. I spent $8.95 for shipping and the bag did arrive quickly but the bag was exact opposite of what I was hoping for. Again, lack of adequate pictures of the item on the website made it difficult to exactly ascertain what I would be getting. I called to return it only to find out I had to pay for return shipping too at $10.95!!! It cost me just shy of $20.00 to take a look at this bag and realize it was not right for me. Triathlete Sports, you need to do better than that! Either better pictures, better descriptions or pay for return shipping. My boyfriend ordered me a pair of fairly expensive cycling shoes from this company. I got them, Tried them out on one ride and asked him to return them. They didn't fit properly and also didn't work with my bike pedals. He boxed them and returned them once he found the receipt after we had moved. The compnay just returned them today, stating there was "clear signs they had been worn". No kidding. I had written a letter for him to mail with it, stating I had tried them , they didn't fit properly and also didn't work with my bike pedals. I bought a defective wetsuit online from them. They will not refund the money. They are saying that I tore it when I tried it on and they are willing to send me glue to fix it?!!!!! This is not the first time I have purchased or used a wetsuit. I know how to put them on and take them off. As a last resort I was forced to dispute charges via my credit card. I would stay away from this place. They do not care about the customer experience or their product quality. read more
