There is a rider attached to the end of the lease since I negotiated with you for a 6 month rather than year lease. I have all relevant documentation. Please see photo below and return my money. Please keep better track of the details as it's your responsibility as landlords. I've been unemployed due to covid and NOBODY should have to chase you down for 6 months during a pandemic to have their money refunded. I sent you an email with my new address. Please make sure you mail it to the right place. I'd rather not have to take you to small claims court but have all necessary documentation and will do so. For anyone considering renting from here, the spaces are decent but the ventilation is horrible in case you're a painter. Staff is really nice but there are some issues with the building and obvious disorganization by the management. Do yourselves a favor and don't pay your last month's rent and avoid the issue I'm having.

I started working from home on days when I had Zoom/Teams meetings because the internet constantly cut out. My video froze so often that eventually people expected me to have to call in. The A/C does not work in many offices and nothing is ever done to fix it. Instead of providing air conditioning, management offers free conference room hours as restitution while the in-office temperature stayed at above 80 degrees for weeks. The printers are often down or out of ink. They sell your information. They steal security deposits. They aggressively pressure tenants to leave positive Google reviews. No amount of free kombucha is worth having to deal with bad wifi or bad people.

What am I going to do when traveling back to NYC and have no office to work from? Cue Workville and boy did they deliver. The location in mid-town is central to anywhere I need to travel to in NYC. Plenty of food options around and safety is paramount at Workville. Hand sanitizer is available throughout, counters are wiped down constantly, Workville residents respect mask-wearing in public areas. Most importantly, support is on hand at all times with Sue, Sabrina, and DJ. If you ask nice enough, they will even let you play your own personal Spotify playlist so you play DJ for your office mates. I love Workville not just for their office layout, nor the wrap-around outdoor deck from the 21st floor, or the free coffee... it's a vibe. A vibe that I need and crave when I visit NYC. I was never informed about this prior to my reservation date/time and I was never given the phone number to call. None of the phone numbers listed at the front desk worked. If that other renter had not been there, I would not have been able to see my paying clients. It was a very disappointing experience. None of the numbers listed on the front desk worked. I called each one to try to find out how to get into my reserved office, which I reserved over 3 weeks in advance. The only person in the office was another renter, leading a group. If he hadn't come out of his room, I wouldn't have had any way to get into the room I reserved and paid for. He called the owner of the space and she remotely let me into the room. Then I got locked out of my room after I walked a client to the elevator. Good thing that same renter was still there and could call the owner to give him the pass of the door lock. My phone and computer were in that room and I would have been ****ed if he wasn't still there. This was the most unprofessional office space I have ever paid for. The office smelled like a cheap NYC massage venue, was incredibly hot, disgusting kitchen. When the other renter called the owner, I had to wait 20 minutes until they got back to him so I could get in the room I paid for. The waiting area and kitchen had no filtered water as described in the listing. The coffee maker -- which was disgusting and not clean -- didn't work and the other renter told me it hasn't worked for a while. The bathroom next door was horribly disgusting and could be smelled in the hallway. If need someplace cheap, this should do. If you need someplace that is even somewhat professional, go somewhere else.
