We had already booked a Hawaii photographer but knew that she had to somehow be a part of our day too so we hired her team for video. BEST decision ever. They are so genuinely sweet and friendly. They hung out with us with all of our family at the hotel the days prior and it was such a blast. As far as the actual video/photos- they do a absolutely phenomenal job and are so good at calming nerves and making the whole process enjoyable. We went in thinking it would be awkward but by the end she hypes you up so hard you feel like a pro almost immediately haha. The actual day of the wedding Joy and Robert were in our corner all day making sure everything was perfect and going above and beyond their duties. Joy- thank you so much for that, truly. During the height of the Covid crisis in the dfw area…read morewe had to reschedule our wedding due to local government preventing wedding from being held and our venue was forced to be closed during our date. So we were forced to reschedule and we got our new date that worked for us with the venue and the other vendors however the new date didn't work for Joy, so we were generous and said don't worry about refunding the deposit just keep it because we imagine you have had a lot of cancellations/reschedules and she waited to see if our credit card would be charged for the full payment. However after the lack of communication from Joy (not responding for several days) we froze the credit card that way it wouldn't be charged. Then she tried to come back and tell us that we should move our wedding to a date that worked for her or pay her the remaining balance of the her fees. And we politely mentioned to her that at no fault of our own that we were FORCED to reschedule our wedding and the new date was all that would work for all of the vendors and venue. She demanded yet again that we pay the full amount. And the only reason we got her to understand that we were not going to pay the full amount was because we pointed to her contract (that had unfair contract language that would never stand up in court) and she came back and never apologized or sympathized just simply said I cannot force you to pay.. Joy was very unprofessional she tried to be underhanded and take advantage of us as her customer. I would strongly discourage anyone from signing any contract with Joy because she has unfair contract language and puts you at a disadvantage as a customer.

***Best of the Best***…read more Oh my gosh, I happened upon this local photographer and couldn't be more pleased! I saw her super cute portfolio and was in love. We were in a bind just before the holidays, and Sarah made time to squeeze us in. Her pricing was great, especially compared to other area photographers, and she was local. All bonuses in selecting a photographer. Once I met Sarah, I quickly realized that she was warm, friendly and humorous with us and our kids. Totally needed for family photos, especially if you want some photos with laughter and real life emotion. In advance, she asked us specifically what we were looking for, and on the day of the event, she was prepared with a few props (although I also brought some of my own), and she whipped it all together for a way better plan than I'd imagined. I wanted some natural setting photos, not super posed. And she got us laughing, and captured the moment. She even had some creative poses that turned out CRAZY cute. Those turned out to be my favorites. And all her photos, have become my most treasured family photography yet. She comes armed with some nice photography equipment (i'm no expert), but the lenses definitely looked pretty spectacular. When photographing us, she maneuvered quickly to capture just about every angle, and every photo came out ridiculously crisp with FABULOUS lighting, and even some delicious bokeh. We went to her, but she's mobile and will come to the location of your choice. I can't imagine a much better setting though, than her neighborhood around Bear Creek Park. Fall photos come out great with tons of leaves, and changing colors. Spring and Summer are green as green can be. All perfect for some gorgeous outdoor photos. I usually hate myself in photos, but thank goodness for Photoshop, as she did some very natural photo editing that made the photos absolute perfection. Her edited photos were super speedy in reaching my email inbox. She leverages a secure online system to provide me access to download my high resolution photos. Easy peasy! And without even requesting, she sent me a few goodies for the following holiday, to use in social media. Seriously, could she be more awesome? Who does this? Love her! When we moved here, I was totally overwhelmed with finding the right family photographer. Thankfully I found Sarah, and and from here on out, she's officially our family photographer. Her business and photography matches my style and my budget, and the end product will always be gorgeous, lasting, photo memories of my most precious people.
