We've come here several times to look at bikes and buy accessories. It's convenient having them in the neighborhood and open on Saturdays - it's located in the bottom of a residential building across from Correios and can be hard to spot but don't worry they are still there. They have a pretty small and unvaried selection of bikes but do carry quite a few sizes of bikes for kids and have a wall of helmets in different sizes. I think they do more business with bike repair.
Unfortunately the service kind of stinks. The owner is just so unenthusiastic, one of those typical grumpy brazilians who seems like you're an inconvenience in his shop. He actually knows a lot when you press him for info, specifically about mountain bikes. I haven't needed my bike repaired yet, but we bought some tools here. One of the times we came in a customer arrived so happy to pick up his bike from repairs only to find out they hadn't even started on it. We bought two bikes in SP, neither from here despite it being so close to our house. The prices and bike types are just not exciting. read more
