Saw the review via google and said it's the top 3 florists in Pickering. Went there order a bouquet of flower for pick up on the next day. The girl who helped me making the arrangement was very nice and friendly and she had a beautiful hand written note that I would like to add a message on the card. The next day when we are picking up the flower, the other girl helped us with the pick up. But the message that we want for the flower didn't indicated anywhere. So we asked, and she just said I don't know anything? Why would you not know anything if it is actually showing on the copy of the receipt??? read more

After last year's FTD debacle on Mother's Day I vowed to use a local florist in the future. Trillium Florist has served the Durham region for as long as I can remember so when Mother's Day came around this year, I hopped onto their website... and am I ever glad I did! I selected a sweet bouquet that was presented in a cup accompanied with a saucer. I found out later that my parents weren't going to be home in the afternoon on the day I had requested delivery. I called the store directly and they ensured delivery was made in the morning. The arrangement is EXACTLY as it was displayed on the site and I am extremely happy with the quality of not only the flowers but also the cup and saucer. I am so pleased with the service and my overall experience with this florist. I will definitely use this florist for ALL flowers for my Mum. She deserves only the best and Trillium delivers it. My experience using this florist was not what I expected at all, nor anything like these glowing reviews. I used to live in Durham Region but several years ago moved to California. I wanted to use a local florist instead of ordering flowers online. The lady who answered my call was indeed very nice. I ordered some flowers to be delivered to my mother for Mother's Day. I told her that I would like to spend $60 including delivery (which was down the street). I am giving two stars for the pleasant lady who answered my call and for prompt delivery on the day I requested. However, here's where it goes downhill. I asked for pink and purple flowers. She told me that she could include lilys, roses and other flowers they would be getting in special for Mother's Day. I agreed and specifically said NO CARNATIONS. The arrangement sent to my mother was only two roses, no Lily's and a bunch of filler flowers including - carnations! I was so disappointed in this arrangement and would not use this florist again because they didn't listen to what I asked and they used mostly filler flowers in the arrangement. Next time I will stick with Reeds. At least I can trust them to do what I ask and deliver a nice arrangement. read more

Really pleased with my order and the overall service. Though, when I went to pick up my order during opening, I had to wait quite a bit as nobody came until 15-20 minutes after their advertised opening time. Looking back it was a mild inconvenience, but it was very stressful on the day of considering the arrangement was for the funeral of a loved one, and I was already going through a lot at the time. I kept calling and calling, trying to get in touch with somebody who could tell me what was going on. When placing the order, I had mentioned that I would need it for a specific time - when you have a schedule planned for the day, being behind 15-20 minutes behind can really impact the entire day. Nonetheless, the arrangements were beautiful and true to the pictures on the website. They were really apologetic about the inconvenience. I would definitely use them again. read more

I recently phoned in a order for flowers "Your Sweet Smile by Teleflora", a very bright looking arrangement, for my daughter's birthday. They were nothing like what was listed "as shown" with nowhere near the flowers or sparkle. To say the least, I am very disappointed with their service. I would not recommend them. My Aunt passed away last weekend & I knew I had to arrange to send a Floral arrangement to the Funeral Home. I went online & found Trillium among other Floral Shops in Pickering. It was the 1st call I made & I'm extremely happy that I did! The Floral arrangement sent to the funeral home was exactly as shown on their website. The card which was included was accurately written without any names spelled incorrectly. The arrangement was absolutely beautiful. This company has good Customer Service with a minimal delivery fee serving the area. Big time let down. I tried two times for valentines day. first order she lied about a color switch when actually was a flower switch. her small site photo was not described. looked like roses.. she honed me to say sorry no pink..can we switch colors.. we will make beautiful.. ok a pink rose to yellow, red, blue... a rose is a rose.. when wife receive them..i saw they were carnations.. who gives carnations on Valentines day.. So to make it right, next day i paid for roses. red... with trimmings.. it was also wife's last day.. show wife my true love.. haha and of course all her staff...(whispers.. why he send you carnations? why no roses?) After waiting all day for the delivery, my wife came home empty handed,, The stores response when i emailed them in the morning! QUOTE: The reason we did not send them out, all red roses were sold out and we did not receive our shipment of the fresh roses yesterday we just received them today Sorry for not calling you last night to advise you as we were waiting for the shipment to come to be able to process the order and when we knew that there is a delay & will be received the next morning, it was too late to call you.
