Hockenbergs is a fantastic place to find restaurant-grade kitchen and dining supplies. Their prices are generally exceptional and their products are usually high quality and very durable. About 3/4 of the store is devoted to items the average home cook wouldn't even dream of buying: industrial-grade ovens, huge refrigeration units, restaurant dishwashers, etc. But the remaining quarter of the store is full of high-quality, sturdy and relatively inexpensive cookware, knives, kitchen gadgets, dishes and flatware. Their prices are usually very good, like a dozen pieces of stainless steel flatware for around $2-3, or an 18 inch wooden pepper grinder for $30 (sold in consumer-oriented stores for around $75). Their one downside is they seem to have a problem keeping product in stock.
