Gorgeous ceramics shop right off the main square. They don't appear to have a website or much of an…read moreonline presence, but you can find them on their Facebook-- /ceramicalopezmexico. They have great cookware and serving ware that's clearly high quality and finished by hand. Much nicer than what you'll find in the market or one of the general tourist stores. Of note they're cash only and since many of their bigger pieces are $1000 MX -- come prepared. Their shipping fees are pretty insane too. If you want to purchase from them, be sure to have some extra space in your suitcase.

Ended up buying the cross and a couple of small Dia de los Muertos animals. Upon checking out I was surprised to see the extent of the store. Hardware, some lighting, a lot of great items if you live locally or are adventurous enough to try to get them home elsewhere. The help was friendly, and I think the pricing was fair too.
