Other contractors have told me I need to do things that aren't necessary, and I've always been able to get good advice on repairs and projects from Granite. For example, when the retaining wall of the garage started to crumble, I got several quotes and most of the people said I had to have a new garage built for $20, 000+. Granite repaired the retaining wall for $2,500 and the garage is still fine They put in a new bathroom in my West Side home that was breathtakingly beautiful. I've moved since then and still miss it. When I bought a new house, Dan advised me on what needed to be done before I moved in, and made a number of recommendations that I NEVER would have thought of that were wonderful: cedar lined closets, replacing the cheap doors in all of the rooms with solid doors, lovely door handles, light switches that light up (so you can see them in the dark). They redid the floors, fixed all of the walls and painted in 2 weeks. When I hear of other people's horror stories with renovations and other projects, I realize how lucky I am!
