I was unfortunate to become homeless and living out of my car, I am disabled and my husband I were…read moregoing to check on a job in Statesboro,Ga., and my vehicle blew up. We had to get my vehicle towed from one spot to another. We ended up in a field behind this church, and after Sunday service I talked to the Pastor about us getting help, after all it was a church. I thought the guy was going to help us because I had told him that the vehicle didn't run therefore it was hard for us to "move" it. Knowing that we have a dog he did try to help us with a room at a motel that didn't allow dogs. That was not good, like he expected us to leave the dog in the vehicle over night while we went to the motel. Then a few days later knowing that we were trying to get help to fix my vehicle, He had it written on paper that we had til Friday to move our vehicle or the cops would be called and our only place to stay would be impounded. He didn't do God's work, God said help those in need. This Pastor is a colored man & I feel that he didn't want to help us because we are White.
