As all neighbors do, we talk and try to figure out what the next step is after removing the sea water from our homes. I went to a neighbor's house who had just had 2 feet of drywall removed from the ground up, stating that is the minimum to prevent mold from starting and spreading. Scott, the person who removed her drywall was unable to do other homes but recommended Cody, the guy standing there with them. He and Cody both assured me that Cody would be able to do the same exact thing. Cody came over to my home, assured me he could also do the same thing in addition to removing my hardwood floors. Gave me a price and when he was able to start, I left w my 86 elderly mom and my dog to avoid the noise. He called me to state they were having problems removing the hardwood floors and would only be able to remove one room. When I returned I was in tears. He only removed some of the baseboards, never cut into any of the walls like he stated he would like my neighbors. He also SCAMMED another neighbor of mine with the same promise!! We both had to hire a different company to come out and cut the 2 feet up per FEMA guidelines. SCAM ARTIST, Beware!!!
