Kids aren't allowed to go to the bathroom when they need too. You buy school supplies for them, yet they're not allowed to use them and if they do use them the kids have to buy them back with "points"?? What in the butternut squash is this?? It got so ridiculous, I chose to homeschool my child. Well worth it! She is way ahead then where she would be in public school, she doesn't get sick like she used to from being around all the other nasty kids who carry sickness. She's not learning the bad behavior from other children. Best Decision I have ever made.

Once I was able to find the school everything went very smoothly. The staff that I encountered was very friendly and helpful to every visitor that they came across and worked hard to encourage the kiddos to do well (the ages started at 6 y/o and went through Jr. High I believe). The school itself is a little dated but very well taken care of; it's obvious that they take pride in the facility and work hard to keep it clean and celebrate its age instead of hiding it. I really like that approach and enjoyed wondering through the halls to see how everything was setup. The only real negative I have is the aggressive driving you must employ when exiting from I27, which, if you know its coming is probably little more than a typical turn. I am not sure the attendance of the school, so parking may be fine for a usual day but for a large regional competition the parking was a challenge and the tight streets meant you had to keep a close eye open for people trying to cross the street.

Lovely little Park that we stopped by so that my grandson could get some exercise and work out some…read moreof the Wiggles. He had a blast. The park has swings for toddlers and big kids , a climbing area and lots of grass to run around on. There is a restroom and a drinking fountain but the drinking fountain didn't appear to work. This park is right next to an elementary school and there were several other kids and parents there besides us. There was a picnic table that we sat at with easy view of the children so you can keep an eye on them. I love that Amarillo has so many great little neighborhood parks!

#1 They are lying to the parents when they enroll their child, telling them that they have…read morecurriculum for their children, and classes. I worked there for two weeks, there were no schedules, no activities, no books. Just a few toys, a play ground the kids aren't allowed to use. The kids played all day aside from nap time from 11-2pm. #2 Their food was microwaved. Almost everyday a chicken/beef patty on buns, some tator tots, and green beans. I was using my phone to read the kids books and play songs on, for them to have something to do. (Okayed by the "director" who also happens to be the daughter in law of the owner)... #3 when my child was sick and couldn't go to school, I had to call in and stay with them, and then the following work day I was throwing up and sick, so I could not go in. I had no money to go to the dr, as I had been living in my car until my church put me in a hotel, she knew this. And still got upset when I said my child was #1 priority always. And that I couldn't plan for being sick. #4 Upon hiring me, I let her know I had one child that wasn't school age, and she told me if I took the job I could bring him to daycare there, and that she wouldn't charge me. Then continued to take they money out of my check. Bottom line neither one of the facilities I have seen are suitable or up to code. Don't take your children here.
