Quick and easy to access. First time visiting so I called ahead to make sure I knew the drill- lady on the phone was very helpful and informative! Once arrived, the guy at the scale was just as helpful. Don't come wearing your "best" as it is a junk yard, but it's a fun place to visit! They keep it pretty clean too considering the content! Won't make a ton of money, but at least your scrap is being put to use. read more

They are no longer receiving any aluminum from the public! Now we have to drive to the west side of Indianapolis to recycle our cans.

For a scrapyard this is the best scrap yard that I have been to that awesome customer service they're willing to help you in anyway that they can I have nothing but nice things to say about this location setting up scrap for a while this is the best location by far to go to and I definitely will be a repeat customer! I thought I would be a little bit more money for my load but again sometimes the load looks bigger than what it may be so I'm not really quite sure exactly how they do their prices but overall I did have a good experience and most importantly it's hard to find good customer service at a scrapyard and this place has it! read more

I've been dealing with scrap yards for decades. But I've never been treated as poorly as this place did me. I brought a load of short iron with some aluminum as well. First they tried to tell me the aluminum was stainless. When I said something about it they said it was ironey aluminum. It had a small steel box on it. So I drove back to my house to remove it then they said that was worth 8 cents a pound because there was foam in it. Then they told me I had a bad attitude and made me leave. Not a way to treat customers. If I had treated my customers in that way I'd be out of work. I suppose it's easy to treat customers that way when there is a monopoly going on right under our noses.
