Asked my mom to go in for me & have them make one hole in my watch band. Mind you this is a very expensive band; regardless if they know this or not. This should be done professionally and measured correctly. As well as have PROPER TOOLS. If you don't then don't accept the job!! Whoever did it just eye balled it and couldn't even do a straight line, now it looks crooked But worst part is the back!! The leather looks punched through and just hanging off. This band is ruined and leather will stain and peel.He cut it off with a razor & nicked the sides as well !! Thanks for ruining it. Looks like a 5 year old did it with a hole puncher. Will NEVER come here again. I don't know what I was thinking trusting this place. She said he didn't charge her...charged?? These people took a frustrating situation and turned it into a nightmare. I purchased a vintage limited edition Chopard from an international jeweler which was damaged in shipping and needed a relatively simple repair, repressing the seconds hand which popped off the stem. Not only did they not complete the repair, the watchmaker took a case knife to the FRONT of a pristine, high polish case and left massive gouges and dents. Upon confrontation, they attempted to polish the case, while mocking me, I quote "must not have been that nice if the hand fell off". There are still marks in the case that I now have to send out to a professional to be corrected. I wouldn't take a $10 Timex to these clowns. They are unprofessional and reckless. read more

I've been looking for a watch repair shop for the past 3 days and Google has been giving me different places that really doesn't do what I'm looking for which replace watch bands. I finally found this place and it was a bit of a drive but it was well worth it and I also got a little discount because I'm a veteran which I do appreciate very much because a lot of place have gotten away from giving us veterans discounts. The watch band is great and I really love the service that I received today and I will be going back to this place again whenever I need another watch band replaced or maybe even to purchase a watch. This is one of the few places my dad can get a nice steel expanding bracelet strap. I don't see them often, but these guys can hook it up. My Fossil watch battery had died, and I looked up sending it off to Fossil. It's $18.50 and includes return shipping. Overhearing my troubles I got the suggestion to call this place. A quick yelp review showed me what I liked. I called ahead to confirm they can do Fossil watches, he said sure thing. I showed up, and was greeted by the most friendly gentlemen. He said it would be $12.85 or so before tax, and will do it while I wait. In pure excitement I walk over to the other side of this small shop and he yells out, 'ok all set'! Ummm WHAT? Fossil battery replacement is 3-5 weeks after it arrives to them, and you pay shipping going out. This happened so fast I forgot I had spent some money on a Starbucks, and it was $13 something after tax. I was like oh jeez man I'm an idiot, i'm short, can you run debit and charge me an even 15 for your time. He says no worries, what you got there in cash I'll take. So $12 bucks and i'm out the door. I've been looking for a nice thin watch to go with a suit. I gave him 3 desired factors, and he showed me a Bulova that was simple, and elegant. It felt like air on my wrist, and had a 5.3MM case thickness which is pretty much razor thin. I'll be returning to buy a watch from here, and probably quit getting dress watches at Fossil not only because this is an awesome local business, or that he helped me out on being short, but that you know you are getting quality, and there's a jeweler there to support your purchase. We took our antique clock in for repair in November of 2020. It's now August 2021 and they told me there are 20 clocks ahead of mine for repair. This was never communicated to us when we entrusted our family heirloom to them. They did however require a deposit from us...which we paid. We returned to their shop today to pick up our un- repaired clock. The clerk was very rude and hesitated to return our deposit saying they could fix the clock so therefore we weren't entitled to our deposit back. Just an unbelievable horrible experience with this company. read more

In and out in 13 mins. Can't complain! I came to get my Skagen & fiance's Swiss Army batteries replaced. $13.99 for the Skagen & $14.99 for the Swiss Army. The gentleman greeted me right away asking what services I needed and quoted me the price. His lady staff when straight to work and I perused his watch display cases. 12 mins later, she was done after letting 2 mins go by to check the watch was running. They even corrected the date for me! They come back with an estimate for a "complete overhaul" for $212 ! I took the watch back & took it to Sears watch repair. They replaced the battery & the watch has been functioning perfectly. WILL TRY TO RIP YOU OFF! Took a Quartz wall clock in because the mechanism was not working. They told me it came with a low torque when it should have came with a high torque and that was why it stopped working. Quoted me $120.......the clock itself cost $129. Went online and bought a high torque for $10 and turns out it had a high torque in the whole time. Took 3 minutes to replace and works great. Do not get a repair done here! read more

Just went in to find a part for my clock. It was a Saturday and they wanted me to leave the part, and they would quote me on Monday. All I wanted was the part, and the price. The guy was very rude and unprofessional when I questioned why he couldn't give me a price and why I had to leave the part. Basically told me to go somewhere else. He acted like I'm the one who should feel privileged that he would take the time to work on my clock. I didn't need him to work on it, I just needed the part. Cannot comment on how well their work is, because I never experienced that. But his rude and unprofessional attitude will keep me from ever going back. read more

I came here to have several batteries replaced for my watches, while I was there I decided to have a crystal replaced on one of my watches that had been cracked for little more than five years. They called me to inform me the repair was done, and told me they put a flat crystal on instead of the bubble crystal it came with. After seeing the watch I did't feel the different lens was an issue so I excepted it. It was the very next morning I noticed the time was not correct, and that the hour hand had not moved. I tried to reset the time but the hour hand would not operate so I called the store and explained what was happening. He told me to bring it in that they could look at it, so I took it to them the same day. They called me the next day and explained that the Crystal crack must've dropped a piece into the gear mechanism and damaged the hour hand? I found that answer strange because it has been cracked for over five years and I've never had an issue with the watch whatsoever and I have been using this watch for diving, swimming and recreational use without an issue. They told me while replacing the Crystal there is no way that it could've been caused by them because they worked from the top side of the watch and the damage would've had to come from the bottom underneath..... I could tell right away it would just feeding me a line of BS. I know they have a number of good reviews, and I can see that being the case if all they are doing is replacing batteries and fixing a watchstrap, but there's no way you can ever trust a company like this for repairs. Do yourself a favor don't take a chance, don't give these crooks anymore of your hard-earned cash and move on to a better business. read more

I stopped in to get the case back on two watches swapped, expecting that I would have to leave them there and come back. I also had a problem with moisture on the inside of one watch. The gentleman that waited on me took both watches, told me it would be a few minutes, and pressure tested both before the swap. They checked out fine, so he had the jeweler swap the case backs and then he pressure tested them again, both passing. Ten minutes and twenty dollars later, I had two watches with swapped case backs, and two pressure test print outs to certify they were still water tight. Came in handy when I sold the other watch. Quick, professional, great price, and a nice selection of watches and watch accessories to look at while I waited. read more

My fiancé was nice enough to bring my watch in to have a second hand re-attached on my otherwise perfectly functioning watch - they charged her $80, left it non functional and were arrogant and dismissive. We recently visited Triple Crown to get the back of my watch put back on after I had replaced the battery. We have bought many items there in the past and had good experiences. We normally were waited on by the manager, but this time there was a younger salesman who greeted us when we came in. He was very rude and had a real attitude issue. I asked him if I used the right battery and he said "if it was the same number as the one I took out it should work". I thought he would check, since I bought the watch there. I then decided that I would have them put in a new battery and asked if they had a fresh battery they could put in before installing the back on the watch. His reply was "NO, we only have rundown or dead batteries". Needless to say, I had him put my watch together and we got out of there. Things were only going downhill. Now I'm really angry! I examined the movement for several hours this evening. I found no evidence of defective bushings or gears. (I may not be a watch maker but I am a Mechanical Engineer and a Master Mechanic.) You just can't trust business any more with anything. DO STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS!! First Place to go for repair or just a battery or strap for high end watches. Very fair price (I have others charge twice as much for simple battery and pressure test). They do service work for many other jewelers so they have a staff of expert repair people but when you walk in they stop what they stop what they are doing and take care of you. Sometimes owning an expensive watch just keeps on costing you but these people keep them running at a very fair price. They will take the same care of any brand. I took my watch in for a repair, I was told that my watch needed extensive repair, that would require "tedious" hours of labor, I was told it would take a week. Two days later I was called and told my watch was ready. I left the building and checked the repair, the watch fell apart in my hands! When I returned to the store the owner of the store looked at the watch repair man and said, come on man, this guy just left here, you said his watch was fixed! The repairman returned with my fixed watch in five minutes. When I asked how a repair that was so "tedious" could be completed in five minutes the owner didn't know what the guy could have done this time that was so quick. It was just cleaned and only wore it 3x since.....AND THEY DID THE CLEANING....he looked me up and confirmed $55 for a cleaning and then said I just paid to clean the band!!! I will never bring my watch here again, the watch was repaired and it did not work the first time, I brought it back and got charged again for the repair of the repair. I tried to explain the situation to the owner but he was rude and did not take any responsibility for my damaged watch.
