Leah was incredibly helpful during the planning process and suggested multiple shooting locations for us as we had never been to Glacier and are from CA. She was incredibly fast when it came to communication and answering all of our questions, and made planning everything so seamless. During the actual photoshoot, she was just so wonderful to work with. She picked us up and drove us to all the photoshoot locations. She is so knowledgeable of the area and even added an extra stop along our route so we could get some beautiful sunset photos! My husband and I are both get very nervous when taking photos or feel awkward most of the time, but Leah is so fun to be around that it just really put us at ease and made us feel so good throughout the entire process! Bill is extremely knowledgable of the area; how the lake, mountains and islands came to be, wildlife etc, plus his personality made this a true local experience (he has been doing this for 20 yrs!). We wanted to see the lake, the wild horses and do some hiking without large crowds or hassle and we got it here plus some.He even took us to see some Tribal markings and told us the history behind it - incredible. My fiancé and I hiked for hours on the secluded Wild Horse Island and saw bucks, bald eagles, doe, sheep, rams and of course gorgeous wild horses!! The fact that we were the only people on the island was a plus, all animals roaming free and no people. Those girls were down in the rocks, laying on the side of cliff, collaborating with one another on how to get the shot. They told us exactly what to do (which I desperately needed) and prioritized what we wanted - which was the most EPIC shots possible. We went with Green Kat Photography as our wedding photographer and also for a combined "love" and…read moreaction shot ski session - and were beyond pleased with the entire experience. First, in regards to the wedding gig, Kat was great at communication from the beginning - which was key since we were planning a destination wedding. She was great over the phone and listened well as we described our wedding plans. Our second day in Whitefish, Kat met with us as we went over the wedding day schedule in greater detail and she made the effort to really understand us - and the wedding party- individuals, which I think is evidenced by her photography. The day of went very smoothly and she was great at having us feel comfortable and natural - and during the actual ceremony and reception she was so unobtrusive - I didn't even notice she was there! All that being said, the final products - the wedding day photographs - are beyond phenomenal. Her use of depth of field, uncanny ability to snap great candids, and talent in showcasing personality within each photograph make her a great professional to work with. Her turnaround time for the photos was also very quick and I loved that she posted a "sneak peak" album of the wedding on Facebook in less than one week after the wedding! Not only did we appreciate it - but all our friends and family did too. In regards to our "love" and action shot ski session, we had a fun afternoon at Big Mountain skiing around and doing some action and couple poses. Again, felt really natural and was a lot of fun. The turnaround from this photo session was extremely fast - in less that 48 hours after the session on the mountain she posted the whole album! Green Kat Photography was great!

We rented two fishing boats to accommodate six of us, which was perfect for celebrating a pivotal…read morebirthday weekend. We all had varying degrees of fishing experience - from beginners to more experienced fisherman - and all had a great time. Our two guides knew the area extremely well and took care of everything on the trip, which allowed us to focus on reeling in 18 fish total - all of which were trout. They even filleted all the fish for us on the boat before we left, which was very appreciated since I don't know the first thing about handling fish. In full disclosure I do not like eating fish at all, but the experience of being out on Flathead Lake with experienced guides that know the history of the land well was more valuable to me than the fish we caught. So even if you don't like fish, it's a great way to be on the water, to hang out with friends, and to learn a lot about the area. And to have such experienced guides taking care of the essentials made it immeasurably more enjoyable.

They…read moreknew the "ins and outs" of the entire lake and used their skills to hone in on areas where we'd find lots of fish, including the hard-to-catch whitefish. Paul's boat was well-equipped with plenty of fishing gear for trolling and jigging. They had plenty of snacks and water/pop for the entire tour. Everyone in our family of five caught some fish. We took home two nice-sized lake trout and filleted them for dinner - they were delicious! We did catch a whitefish, but it was too small to bring home.
