I have been going to Triple D for a very long time. Since the days I was shooting slides. Part of the reason I enjoy going there is because the animals are so well taken care of, healthy, and honestly the animals are having fun during the photo shoots. You can tell the animals like the handlers. I was there again November 2025. The handlers were great and I really enjoyed being there. read more

I just returned from a full day of photographing several animals at Triple D Farms: snow leopard, bobcat, lynx, badger, wolves. It was a wonderful experience. From the time I arrives at 7AM, I was greeted by the owner, Jay. Offered coffee then met the trainer and off we went. The entire day was wonderful. I took over 900 pictures! I would like to thank all at Triple D for a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel welcome by the owner and all the staff. We were able to photograph a variety of animals in a number of settings. The wellbeing of the animals and safety always came first, the animals dictated how long a shoot lasted and were never forced to continue or pressured to return to their accommodation or travel crates. Having been around a bit, I have seen some bad practices in animal handling and care. However, these handlers showed nothing but love and respect for the animals in their charge, and this was clearly reciprocated by the animals themselves. An impromptu visit behind the scenes allowed us to see how well these animals were housed and cared for. Fair sized cages, exercise areas and enrichment activities. I will definitely be returning. read more
