However, I had some trouble getting someone over the phone as did my cosigner and her references. The breaking point was when one of their representatives lied to me, telling me that my application was denied due to them not being able to get in touch with my cosigner's personal references. Now, being denied isn't the issue, but the dishonesty about something I can easily check just by asking around is unacceptable. I don't recommend renting through this company, I wouldn't trust them to be honest with you either.

Then one week later we were told that the property that they applied for is no longer available and they would not refund the total of $300 in application fees they had collected. I have called and left a message for Abigail but have not heard back yet. This constitutes a breach of trust and may be a criminal offense but at the very least we will be pursuing this in civil court if our money is not refunded.
