Pub on Wheels? Sure, why not! We had entire streets of Uptown LIT as we celebrated my cousin's bday & I think Zachary (our driver) had a blast with us, too LOL. Our coolers were full stocked, my sister had an amazing playlist which the driver easily hooked up to the USB port and we pedaled our way down South Blvd for another adventure for the books. Trolley Pub did a phenomenal job with the recommended route and selected stops based on our preferences. I honestly had my reservations about this but it ended up becoming one of my fav activities of 2021. We've all seen these trolleys around Uptown and SouthEnd with the group of drunken friends laughing and screaming and having the best time right? Well, on this day we were those people and it was EPIC! My good friend decided to celebrate her birthday with a trolley ride through uptown. Lucky us, because this ended up being the most fun I've had in a while. Our driver John was amazing, gave us all the info we needed, helped secure our purses and bags. Once all the safety instructions were shared he gave us some pretty fun drinking games to play during the ride! We made two stops at a couple bars uptown, even ran into some of our friends along the way. We had a blast for my friend's birthday. Definitely a fun way to spend one of my Best Friend's 30th Birthday! Our group of 5 did a mixer tour with two other parties. There are a few things that made the experience just okay: 1. There were not enough seats on the Trolley Pub so someone had to sit in the middle which I thought was strange. 2. We stopped at 3 already selected places: Heist Brewery, Davidson Street Public House and Birdsong Brewing. I wish we had some sort of input but those places were fine by me. 3. Our driver wanted to play his music which none of us enjoyed. It was not until after the second stop that we took the speaker and synced it to one of our phones. Unfortunately the speaker was not loud so we plugged the phone into the Trolley Pub stereo and jammed out, why wasn't this option offered when we first started?! 4. No alcohol is allowed on the Trolley Pub right now, they are working on changing this though. I do recommend Trolley Pub. I did have a better experience with the one in Downtown Raleigh, I think Charlotte is just a bit too congested. read more

Came here for my brothers bachelor party over Labor Day weekend and had a blast! Rose was our tour guide and she was absolutely stunning. Super friendly and sweet. Too bad it was only two hours long. She took us to really cool spots in Charlotte including The Unknown Brewery. I highly recommend this tour and ask for Rose! The trolly had Bluetooth which was a pleasant surprise. It allowed us to play our ratchet gangster rap while we terrorized the town. Jk. But it did make the ride that much more fun. We had a great time on the Trolley Pub. My boyfriend's boss had gotten us a gift certificate when we moved down here. It was a great way to check out local bars in the Uptown area. Our favorite spot was Hooligan's - it's a quaint soccer bar with a great beer selection! Our tour guide, Dustin (aka Goose) was fantastic! He was a great guide - professional, yet super friendly. One downfall of the Trolley Pub in Charlotte was no drink specials from the bars. There is a similar program in Columbus, OH called Pedal Wagon. You pedal on a trolley to different bars in the area; however, partner bars offer special deals like $1 off or a percentage off. read more

We've done this for 5 years now, and every other year would have been 5 stars, but something's happened since our last time, and now whoever is running this has completely ruined the experience. We started 20 mins late because they were going through every one of our coolers and confiscating anything like High Noons, which fine if that's the rule, but they also "accidentally" took our friend's beer and we had to go back and grab it. Then we were blocked in by another trolley and had to wait for them to move. Come to find out, they were penalizing us for the delay and we couldn't go to the 3 bars as advertised. There's a million new rules on board that have sucked the fun out of it, and the best part is, they follow you around on a little moped and watch everything you do just waiting for someone to make a mistake so they can pull you over and end the ride. The last time they pulled us over was because someone was dancing in their seat, with their seatbelt ON. We were so over it at this point that we just got off. I don't get the point of this activity anymore. Our driver did the best she could and I don't fault her at all, but the fun police on the moped just waiting to act out his superiority complex is a massive buzz kill. I'd recommend skipping it and doing your own bar crawl. read more

We were allowed to bring a cooler on the ride (no glass!) and that made it more fun. Everyone took a turn pedaling. It was challenging and fun. Going in to the experience we didn't really know what to expect, but we had the most amazing time. Our tour guide/chauffeur Vincent was awesome - a fun guy that really knew the area (we ended up on the Uptown tour) and didn't even get mad when I accidentally broke his selfie stick. We were a group of six so we ended up on a mixer tour as opposed to a private party, but I honestly think that made it even more fun - we met several other couples that were along for the ride and overall it was great company...And some great sing-alongs once the booze started flowing. I would definitely make sure you bring a beer or two along for the bike ride portion of the tour - but even if you don't the longest stretch we went without stopping at a grouping of bars was about 15 minutes. All in all I would do this again and I would recommend it to anyone, whether you've been living in Charlotte for years or you're just visiting for a day or two. read more

We went on this trolley for my Bachelorette party and omg it was such a blast. We went on the one that goes uptown, and it was 2 hours. We stopped at 3 bars which was fun but we loved being on the trolley and wish we could have just stayed on it the whole time.
