Well I guess it is the ice cream, this stuff is amazing creamy smooth and not too sweet. Good selection of hot deserts from waffles to doughnuts to hot fudge brownie sundaes. Coffee and cakes are available too if your not as much of a cold/hot desert sort of person. What you pay is well below what you would expect for the quality. The staff are amazing and polite great at their jobs. Their only downside is their location and this is not a downside of the business it is for the customers finding it. They are located just at the end of the promenade from the waterfront but away from the rest of the waterfront attractions. The opposite side of the station from the town centre and just a little bit off the beaten track. On the plus side if this was any more central the place would be queued out of the door and you wouldn't get served half as quick. If your in or around Irvine grab an ice cream or a desert from here you won't regret it.

The one which used to stand at the Greenock Road side of the town was sadly demolished but this one does a roaring trade year after year, and is one of Largs' best known (and possibly best loved) landmarks. Besides the most delicious Italian ice creams (of many gorgeous flavours!), you can also buy hot dogs, hot and cold drinks, sweets, toys, buckets and spades, beach balls and other things for the beach.

It can sometimes take a wee bit of time to get served but that's only because it's regularly chocca. Just chill out, have a natter and be patient. The decor is nice and fresh and the tables have good space for all your doodahs. There's also a couple of toilets for the ladies, which is very handy!
