holy sh*t! what a terrible landlord/management company First Apartments/Trophy properties LLC VIII is. It took them over 4 months to complete basic repairs that we were told would be done before move in. I had to hammer call/email them and had to be a little rude to get their attention. They always had some excuse but their actions speak pretty clearly to the fact that DO NOT CARE at all about their tenants. And looking over the lease again recently, we really signed away our rights to do anything. Shame on them. I will forever be more vigilant for myself when signing another lease. The only good thing about living here was the amazing Pakistani place across the street and convenience of being in the city. I lived here for 5 years and in that time period only experienced one good property manager named Shane who eventually moved to manage a separate property. The management aside from that was non existent and impossible to get a hold of or a response from. We never received updates on when the property management was changed or how to contact the new manager and our maintenance requests were almost never taken care of. We went 2 weeks with no hot water, had several break ins where packages were stolen, the laundry room was destroyed, and the garbage area was made a mess, the elevator slams shut as it is being used and has caused multiple injuries to myself as well as other residents and visitors, and the fire alarm goes off constantly. This place is poorly managed and taken care of at best and is far too expensive for the property and management of it to be this much of a stressful mess. read more
