It's a solid experience in the fruit world. We enjoyed a meal in the cafe first, the highlight for us was the grilled chicken breast salad and the fish and chips. After that the truck ride around the farm was a great snapshot of the entire fruit world, along with the minitrain ride and the boat ride feeding geese. Totally worth a trip, even if it's for the ice cream alone! You go on a tour of the plantation, and see some nice scenery. A nice little boat ride, and even a mini train ride (not gonna lie it was a little awkward especially since it was a tight fit for the number of people on our tour). Along the way you stop to see some animals that you can feed and pet. Then you go to a food show where you learn some information and the best part - a tasting! There is also a little restaurant serving their fresh produce. The ice cream is amazing, you have to try it. You choose your fruits and they put it in vanilla ice cream. I had the chocolate fruit with banana and it was delicious. If you still haven't had your fill of fruit you can take some home from their little market stand. I'm dead serious about at least stopping for ice cream, when I take a trip down to Byron Bay you better believe we'll be making a pit stop for some ice cream!! read more

Great half day out. Entry fee is expensive at $40 pp for a adult. We started off on a guided walk to where we got a informative talk on the fruit and products the place produces then got to taste the wonderful and exotic fruits. The kids loved tasting new fruits, the star fruit was a hit with my boys. We then got on a tracker and had a tour thorough the property stoping at various crops to taste test bananas and crack nuts open. We stopped at the petting farm and the kids got to hand feed the animals, from here we boarded a boat for a nice cruise, the kids wer given bread to throw out to he ducks following us. Final stop as treasure island. Here the kids went on a miniature train played mini golf, basketball, flying fox, they had a playground and plenty of covered tables and chairs to have a picnic. Overall had a great day, take our own Lunch as the cafe is expensive. Kids loved it. read more
