We booked the excursion through Norwegian Cruise Line. We met at the pier and immediately walked the first leg of the tour to the Boat Cabo Del Mar. This was the highlight of my tour. It was about 1 hour long. We went out to the arch and had some time to take pictures. Everyone on the boat were friendly. The narrator was funny but then he stopped when we went to the Pacific Ocean and Jacque Cousteau took over on a recording. Kind of weird. It was a nice little boat ride. They ended it with shots of tequila. There were punch options for those who don't drink. After the boat ride, we walked with Pepe dressed in yellow to the buses located behind the marina building. This is where things got a bit confusing. Chaotic. Cece ended up being our tour guide. She was fantastic. She took care of all of us and was very informative. We went to the glass factory where you saw a demo and had time to shop. The lost stop was Sunset Mona Lisa where we had yet another round of drinks and photo op's. I really could've done without the land portion of the tour but this was tour was all that's left last minute. I found the Cabo land tour to be a bit of a bore. The sea tour was amazing! read more

This excursion was offered by Ovation of the Seas, of the Royal Caribbean line. It was listed as 'Land's End Scenic Boat Tour' or something like that, charging $95, but I paid $80 or something due to purchasing before the sail date. For that amount of money, there were non-alcoholic drinks on the catamaran and ONE drink at the hotel. The good things first: we were met at the port, taken out to the arch, not close because of the size of the boat, but we got some really good pictures of the arch, the island and the water. We were offered water, lemonade, and soda during the 35 or so minute trip to the Arch. We got a drink ticket for the 2nd part of the tour. There was an audio by Jacques Cousteau or his son about the history of Cabo San Lucas and the Arch but it was not very loud. The tour guides did not offer much history, and most people took pics, selfies and talked anyway, but a tour should include facts we can hear. Some music came on after that, which set a nice mood. The net on the boat to see the bottom was cool, but I stayed off of that. After we arrived at the port, we were put on a large tour bus, with Air conditioning, and taken to a hotel, Puerta Vieja, old Door. We were given some history and tour facts while we rode, but then we had HALF AN HOUR to choose from a light beer or wine in the hotel lobby to redeem our drink tickets. I found a restroom to use. NO food was offered. IT was an ok place, in the middle of almost nowhere with construction going on. Not a bad place but we needed more indoor time as it was very hot. Soon another tour showed up and it got hectic and muddled as we headed back to the bus. I read that other tourists had food and an hour at the hotel, so what happened here? The ride out to the arch was nice, but the rest of the trip was confusing and disappointing. They could have charged half and just did the water part, no need to involve the hotel. We took a tour with this company and Cabo and I was a bit disappointed by it. It was very rushed and very hot. We did the Arch Cruise, Beach lunch with tacos and shopping. The arch cruise was on a big boat so they could pack as many people on it as possible. We didn't get a lot of time to view the arch or get up close because of the type of boat it was. They did give us welcome lunch on board and had a bar if you wanted anything additional. The second portion of the tour, we went to this beach resort that was packed and full of annoying solicitors who wouldn't stop begging for money and sticking their cheap crap in your face to buy. This stop included 2 cocktails and a taco lunch. Well, the drinks were good, but the tacos weren't tacos. They were basically cheap taquitos with no sides. I ordered guac and it was watered down smashed avocado and they charged me $16!!! The service was also terrible and they only had one restroom for everyone. The last part of the tour they took us to this touristy shopping area where there was literally no one and it was so hot. They did give us cold bottled water at this location. We had an hour here and when it's 90+ degrees with no A/C anywhere we were over it. They also ask for tips for doing nothing additional than what you paid for... Needless to say I wouldn't do this tour again. read more

We recently went on a Mexican Riviera Cruise through Carnival. There was more driving to get there and a bit of traffic that rushed the shopping, but the prices were similar to shops near the port. It was calm, quiet and less crowds than the port which was the best part. Rudy and Mauricio were awesome and the purpose of the excursion is to explore more than the port which they delivered. read more

We booked an excursion through our cruise with them for a Cabo sightseeing, tacos and tequila. This tour discussed a lot of the history of Cabo. Our tour guy Rudy was very informative and he has lots of cousins! We went to the Glass blowing factory and saw a demonstration of how they make things and it was pretty cool to be able to see that. We also went to the Cuervo house for lunch and tequila tasting. What's a better way to learn and try new tequila than at the Cuervo house. Jorge Cuervo gave a little bit of history on types of tequila. We also had some tacos for lunch and best fish tacos I've had! Rudy and the driver Alex were great! read more

Worst tour of my life!! Booked through Royal Caribbean their site seeing tour was horrific. The description said top 10 sites of Cabo but then they drive you 20 min outside cabo san lucas to cabo San jose where there is absolutely NOTHING!!! Worst Tour ever! We chose the Baja highlights tour through NCL. Total waste of money! Didn't really see hardly any highlights of Cabo. Memo was the tour guide and he took us to this restaurant called Molly's. When we walked in my husband picked up the menu that was on the table, and a guy server snatched it from him and said "no, you order from this menu"! The menu he tried to give us was on a white piece of paper and had American money prices. We told him "no, we wanted to order off the regular menu". He then says the regular menu would take too long (20 minutes) and the paper menu would only take (10 minutes). I told him we had 1 hour and we were ordering off the regular menu. The two menus had exactly the same items except the white paper menus were $4 - $6 HIGHER in price (American money). Btw, we got our food just as fast as everyone else. If you want to get ripped off, go to Molly's. Although the food was good, I don't appreciate someone trying to take advantage of me just because we were cruise line tourist. Norwegian Cruise Lines said Molly's was NOT an approved restaurant and refunded our total excursion fees. When I called out Memo (tour guide through Tropical Tours) about being price gouged, the excuse then was that the portions were bigger. Another BS EXCUSE!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! Memo (tour guide) also handed us a survey to rate him and his company's performance. Which was stupid to hand me a survey while you watch me fill it out and then I hand it back to you. Tropical Tours Baja Cabo Sa D - Los Cabos, BCS

We took a cruise to the Mexican Riviera through Princess Cruises. Our prepaid (online) for the port of Cabo San Lucas- shore excursion- was the the arch & city highlights tour, which was very good, informative, as well as entertaining, and BTW, well-organized and executed successfully. Our tickets were in our cabin when we arrived. (We chose the early one since this was a short port visit.) We met in the theater, with the rest of our group. Then when everyone was present, we went to the tender, which took us to the checkpoint (*do not bring snacks or drinks, they will be tossed*). After we went through, we went to the boat, a nice, clean two level vessel, which had inside seating as well as outside seating (It was cold in the morning so don't forget to wear a jacket or sweater). We also had drinks (coffee, juice) and there was a bathroom, too. Service was excellent. The employees spoke English. The arch and surroundings were beautiful. We saw birds (pelicans, sea gulls), sea lions (they kind of blended into the rocks), and nature at its finest (the golden sand beach and crashing waves). There were others tours going on besides ours but that was ok since it is a pretty large space. Lots of picturesque opportunities. It was gorgeous. I felt at peace here. Last year, we didn't do an excursion (same destination, different cruise line), but I was glad we did this one. (BTW *Be sure to have singles for tips.) Afterward, we went back to the port and into a line for the bus. There were two buses. Our tour guide, Memo, was the best---he was entertaining, funny, and his narration was very informative. The driver was very good, but I don't remember his name. We saw more of this port (residential, resorts, stores, restaurants, etc.) compared to last year, since we basically went on foot and braved the "swapmeet hustle." (*Side note---Brush up on your saying NO skills if you are walking at this port.) We went to a restaurant Puerta Vieja (clean, nice looking restaurant---also, great service, also has a boutique), where we were served drinks: beer, bottled water, coke or 7-up. (BTW * tips) Once inside, we went to the roof, to get more pictures of the arch and port---very nice. Also, we were able to use the bathroom, too. On our return ride back, we all took the survey, and the tour was over. (BTW *tips) This was excellent. I think that there are three different types of tours to the arch but this is the one we selected. read more
