I do not recommend using Complete Weddings + Events in Rapid City, SD for a DJ. So many things went…read morewrong. She started by asking my now husband where to set up her speakers...shouldn't she know this? Then, for our grand entrance into the reception, SHE FORGOT OUR LAST NAME! Our guests had to yell it for her! How embarrassing!!!!!!!!! After my mom said the blessing before dinner, she started playing our first dance song! I think I'm the only one that heard it, but I still couldn't believe it. At one point, she came up to me and asked if she had played the Cha-Cha Slide first or the Cupid Shuffle, because she couldn't remember....I had asked for a specific song to be played at the reception, and it never got played. There were a few songs she would stop halfway through and start a new one. We had hired her until midnight, and ended up sending her packing at 10:30. The songs she was playing weren't keeping anyone on the dance floor. When I spoke to her a week before the wedding, she sounded young, inexperienced and not confident. However, I trusted that a big company would send an experienced DJ to a wedding with 200+ guests. I was so wrong. I would never recommend using Complete Weddings + Events for a DJ. Waste of a lot of money for a crap DJ.
