In attempt to quash my complaint, a university administrator offered to confer a degree that I didn't earn. Eighteen hours of the required coursework were "double-dipped" and grouped under a fabricated credential. Documents were falsified and forged. Student records requests were denied and remain unfulfilled. An investigation ensued. The director of the reviewing agency suggested I accept and warned me against substantiating my expectations because it would be a hard road for me. read more

One of the better universities around where I live. Veterans Memorial stadium and riddle Pace field are two of the better stadiums to watch a Intercollegiate contest. The parking is absolutely atrocious. Centrally located to a lot of restaurants. Recommended definitely read more

Troy University is the worst school I have ever dealt with!!! Their staff is completely unprofessional and they can't deal with any situation requested correctly. They lag on everything I've requested of them. I got yelled at by my advisor the first day I went there, they didn't send me the requested documents to apply for student aid so I got charged $1,500 out of pocket for my term, and when I requested and paid for my official transcripts, I was sent unofficial even though they were paid for!!! The staff is completely incompetent and I recommend if anyone is considering this school... look elsewhere! Coming from Axia College and going to Kaplan University; I would rather spend a little extra on the service and professionalism you receive. read more

Troy University is a thoroughly frustrating experience. If you're looking for a graduate program taught by clueless professors, or taught at a high school level, this is the school for you. Troy likes to sink money into shiny new buildings at the expense of their core mission - education. I have never seen a library filled with so many old books. Their collection is in dire need of updating. The administration is difficult to deal with. Everyone you talk to will give you a different answer to your question. But perhaps most impressive, the people in the office right next to the bursar's office couldn't tell me where I needed to go to pay my tuition. No, the words TROJAN CENTER did not tell me they collected money in there. Troy University exists to take students' money so Dr Hawkins can pay for his place at En Soleil in Panama City Beach. troy university is a stuck up school. they are over rated and they treat students as if they owe them. They are slow to respond to things, they dont have enough parking, they dont believe in giving students a second chance if a mistake did occur. They are rude and unprofessional. They are all about the money. the professors are not teaching the students the students are teaching themselves. Run for the hills!! I would try another university before I would Troy. read more

She exemplifies excellent customer service skills and was very patient, professional, and courteous throughout my entire phone conversation regarding an issue that I was having. I know I have spoken to her in the past and wishes that she continues to help Troy students in the future and I am claiming a promotion for her!!!! Troy has expressed itself as being world class....Their customer service representatives can not be included in this statement. Carol, who is a CSR for Troy, did not make my telephone experience pleasurable. She does not know anybody's phone number to help her and her supervisor, Sharon Hawkins was going to be in a meeting for an hour or so. How did she know this information but left me on hold while I was waiting to speak to a supervisor. All I can say at this point is maybe because it is Monday!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have just finished the camp that is organized by Troy University, AL from Hanban. It is two weeks camp in Beijin and Xi'an that camper only need to pay the flight ticket to get there, the camp is free. It sounds very good, isn't it? however, it is worse experience I ever had. We stay in a school hotel that is very dirty, rusted, missing tiles, the shower is above the toile, there is not a shower door to divide the toile and shower. rusted pipes on the wall, couple of the window glasses are missing, some covered by paper but some not. The weeds are everywhere on the play ground and seems never been clean up. None of the hotel housekeeper speak English. Our tour leader speak very little English and we cannot find her the whole time. We did visited some famous attractions there, but every place we only got 10mins to take pictures outside of the building. The tour guide speak such a bad English that no one knows what he is talking about. We almost have not much food choices, French fries and fry rice everyday. Most of the time we stay inside of the school learning Chinese. I guess that is the only good part. But there is not much to do after the class. For two weeks, I did not go to see lots places that I want to see. I will never attend this camp again. Don't waste your money on this free camp. I have done the trip with ARMADA last year,it is huge difference compare with this camp. ARMADA has the nicest people and have most fun trips with very reasonable price.
