Came here for a coaches dinner and sat in the "outdoor/indoor" portion of the restaurant which was very cold but accommodated all 23 of us. For appetizers, we ordered brussel sprouts, focaccia bread, guacamole and chips, and pita and hummus which were all delicious, my fave was the Brussels sprouts and focaccia with the butter. For dinner I ordered the Korean noodle bowl with beef, which was alrighhhhhhtttt. The glass noodles in the bowl was very soggy compared to other glass noodles I've eaten when eaten in japchae. The flavor was there I just couldn't do the sogginess of the noodle. I wasn't a fan of it but the waitress was nice enough to switch out my order for something else and I got the Nashville hot sandwich with a side of sweet potato hash and was a better option for dinner. Our waitresses were patient and nice with us. The food came out rather quickly despite the large party we had. For desert I had the squash pie which tasted more like a pumpkin pie. Overall great experience and would come again. I was only able to get a few pictures when I did remember because I was so zoned in on conversing with my fellow coaches at our dinner. read more

5 stars for a hearty yet curated menu full of healthy, delicious foods and drinks! I shared the spaghetti squash casserole and the bbq ranch chicken wrap + small kale salad with a friend, and we couldn't pick a favorite between the three. Another friend ordered and enjoyed the smoked Gouda turkey burger. I also recommend the avo-rita, which comes with two housemade tortilla chips topped with guacamole! We sat in the "outdoor" area -- a pretty large patio off the main dining room. Service was great, we shared some laughs with our server, and the bathroom was clean. I heard about this place and wanted to try them for brunch. It was pretty busy, but I was seated quickly. I ordered the Farmhouse scramble and a jasmine green tea. The scramble was filled with sweet potato, onions, Brussel sprouts and the sausage was flavorful with a slight kick. The food was top tier and the staff were attentive and warm. True Food Kitchen is a new restaurant in Annapolis. We were driving by and decided to stop in. The hostess was very welcoming and accommodating for walk-in. The place is beautiful and spacious! Very clean and there is a view into the kitchen that's always good because they have nothing to hide. The smoked old fashioned is 5 stars, the pour is great and good house bourbon!!! Now, the food is definitely a 2 star. The edamame avocado dip was just okay but the chip was hard and old. I sent them back and the server bought out warm bread. The pink sauce was very off putting with the salmon and salmon was very dry. The burger was just okay. It's new, so I gotta give them another try later in the year. read more

I've been to 2 other True Food Kitchen locations & always enjoyed my meal. I'm glad to see TFK has made it's way to Annapolis, especially since I'm eating more plant-based meals this year. I had the Korean noodle bowl. It had sweet potato glass noodles, pickled shiitake mushrooms, spinach, carrots, & toasted sesame seeds. As soon as the waitress placed it on the table, the aromas tickled my nose & I did a little happy dance in my seat. It smelled so good! There's a light sauce in the dish, I believe it's soy sauce based or maybe it's coconut aminos. Whatever it is, it compliments the dish well. No one wants to eat dry noodles. Although the dish was yummy as is, there's an option to add meat or seafood. It would be even better with shrimp or chicken. For dessert, I had the chocolate chip cookie and the flourless cake with ice cream. The flourless cake was light & really rich, like you need to drink some milk after you have a bite. Definitely wasn't my favorite. I enjoyed the ice cream though, which was a nondairy ice cream. I believe it was probably a coconut milk ice cream. I like the chocolate chip cookie better. There was something different about that though as well. The cookie was really soft and it wasn't as firm as regular chocolate chip cookies. It was very easy to just crumble it with your fingers. I'm not sure if it was a gluten-free or what things that are normally in a chocolate chip cookie were not included in this but it was definitely something different that I noticed. Despite that, I enjoyed the cookie. Of the two desserts that's the one that I would've ordered again. read more

So I'll say some things aren't for everybody. This restaurant is not for me. But may be for other. A friend suggested this restaurant when we decided we wanted to eat lighter leading up to thanksgiving. I was not overtly impressed by the menu but landed on the Turkey burger with side of sweet potato hash . My friends ordered the banana pancakes for us all to try and share. Turkey burger- it was bland. I believe there are ways to cook healthy food and also have flavor. This missed the mark. Sweet potato hash- was ok. Of all the things i had this was the best Banana pancake- the pancakes do not taste good at all. There was a cream on the top which believe to be sour cream. And that's weird. There was no sweetness Hibiscus margarita - wasn't good. Strong taste of lime and not much more I tasted a bit of the quinoa from my friends bowl and that seemed to be pretty good. But overall, i thought the food was bland , unseasoned and missed the mark There are ways to cook healthy and have flavor for the food. And the presentation is really lacking.
