Dr. Borino is a nice, very smart western woman, reared and educated in Wyoming and Montana. I think she is a super diagnostician. Am always amazed at how "up" she is on medications, trends and treatments. Her knowledge base is huge and I feel that I am getting the very best advise when I meet with her. Dr. Stewart has treated our youngest son, my wife and I. Being part of this practice he fills in for Dr. Borino and diagnosed my knee injury and referred me to the orthopedic surgeon. Their new office suite is larger and better than their former location and is still adjacent to Marcus Daly Hospital. Their billing is good, but their front desk people are pretty confused and not quite on the ball. My opinion. And please don't blow off this fine medical practice based on this. But just about every time I come in for an appointment they ask for my insurance cards, make a copy and treat me like a new patient. Pretty annoying. And when I check in, it takes awhile for them to find me on their computer system. Ugh! Yes, I mention the front office staff and operation each time I see Dr. Borino, but this is Montana and everyone is nice, so I don't hold out much hope in the personnel arena. They are good personable physicians who treat you like a neighbor.

Heavy…read morekudos to him, his office staff, his physician assistant and the surgery department of Marcus Daly Hospital here in Hamilton, Montana. This was a very positive and excellent experience in all respects. WARM BLANKETS and lots of introductions and briefings along with getting IV fluids started and then into surgery itself. More introductions and now anti-biotic drip plus oxygen. I wanted to see the arthroscopic knee operation so opted for a spinal block rather than being knocked out on anesthesia. What an experience that I now have in-common with women who had epidurals during delivery of their children. The numbness was an absolute absence of feeling from the lower back down. Simply amazing. As a note, I have had continual and significant back pain as a souvenir of my Vietnam infantry combat tour and 20 year Army career and for the first time in over 40 years I felt no pain in the back. I really enjoyed those few hours without pain. After a lot of scrubbing and prep from a cast of supporting characters in the OR, Dr. Behm made the incisions and inserted a variety of "tools" or "probes" which cut away cartilage and sucked away the debris. He told me what he was doing and answered my questions as I watched the same color TV screen that he was watching. Absolutely fascinating and I felt nothing except for the shaking of the table as he moved my leg around to expose other areas of the knee joint for his repair work. In 45 minutes we were done and I went to recovery where more warm blankets were laid upon me and I awaited the return of much of the feeling to my legs. That was about an hour and then back to the pre-surgery room where I had to take in more fluids and void before I could be released. Mary the receptionist had cookies and the nursed brought juices while my wife and I, and passing nurses, chatted and waited. Finally the two liters of IV were successful and I was discharged. I have no concerns about the upcoming right knee operation and will opt for the spinal and TV again. Pretty neat experience.

He got the backstory of the injury right away and he listened well and was a personable guy. Then he pulled out a knee model and showed me how a normal knee works and what roles the different tendons play, then showed what my knee was doing and explained what I can do to fix it before we decide on an MRI and a knee scope. We sought out Dr. Clark after months seeing a general doctor without any progress aside from an undiagnosed problem that was escalating and random prescriptions to treat the symptoms. He immediately identified the source of the problem and took the appropriate next steps. I can't say enough about his professionalism, knowledge, ability to build rapport with his patients, and proactive nature. Ultimately, the issue was more complex than what could be addressed locally but his office has still been there every step of the way going above and beyond to facilitate the transition and coordinate treatment out-of-state. Hailey, his nurse, is a rock-star! The process of initiating treatment at an academic facility was cumbersome. I leaned on her throughout the process when we hit roadblocks. She took on items that outside of her job description to help remove our obstacles and made all the difference. Thank you all for your stellar attitudes, straight forward responses, and genuine care for your patients! You've definitely made a difference for our family. I had complained about how food gets caught between teeth every time I eat and I have to use floss to get it out. The hygenist brought to my attention the pocket forming around the tooth. Dr. Davidson confirmed her findings and they recommended my going to a gum specialist. He said the food jamming down while chewing was damaging the gums and the bone was starting to recede from the implant post. He recommended adding to the tooth in front of the implant. Dr. Davidson recommended taking the crown off of the implant and adding to it instead. That made more sense to me. They also called the lab to see about getting it covered under a warranty to save me money. I am very impressed with this office and so glad I changed dentists.

I proceeded to tell her all of the places that I wanted to get BOTOX and she said that it would run me over $1000. As with any new injector that I use, I asked to only do the forehead and around the eye area. Which was $500. After two weeks I contacted her (she said she had contacted me to see if I needed a touch up but, I had no message) to let her know that my BOTOX was uneven and that she there were places that it did not take including my forehead and around my eyes. Mind you, I was very thorough when we met for the initial consultation on exactly what I wanted and the concerns that I had. After two weeks I was left with a dropping left eyebrow and the BOTOX in my forehead was clearly not enough. I have also gotten BOTOX for several years and know what a good injector is by the outcome of their work. I also know that with any new client things are different therefore, you build a trusting relationship especially when it comes to injecting in your face. Here are my issues: She does not use BOTOX, she uses another toxin. Botox is a what Allergan uses and it works on me while other toxins are not quite as effective therefore you need a lot more. She wanted to charge me for the touch up. Which now would be 14 dollars a unit. She said if I would spent her $1000 and let her do what she wanted then, my touch up would be free? So that tells me that she has not interest in building a relationship with a client. I have NEVER been charge for touch up as this is what injectors do after they have not injected either enough or two much in area to fix it. In my case a dropping left eye and not enough in my forehead or around my eye. She needs to be honest up front as the industry standard uses BOTOX by Allergan and she does not. She needs to let clients know that some touch ups are free and some are not before they make an appointment and waste their time. I would not go back to an injector that runs her practice like this. Seems just about the money and for a job that has left very unhappy with the results.
