I contacted Carlos, the owner of True Tint, a couple of weeks ago after seeing him doing a window film installation at a local business. I'd wanted to have tint put on the back windows of my house for quite a while so I asked Carlos if he was able to come by later than night and give me a quote. We traded numbers and I texted him my information. He showed up on time, took measurements, and gave me an extremely reasonable quote. He also showed me some photos from a recent job that he'd done so that I could see his work quality. I easily made the choice to have him install the tint at my house. Unfortunately I had to delay the installation by about a week because I was out of town for work. Carlos and I set up an appointment to have the window tint installed today, October 12th, 2015, at 1 p.m. Carlos texted me ahead of time to confirm that he'd be there for the appointment and then showed up a few minutes early...it's always really nice to have someone confirm the appointment and then show up on time, it seems to happen so rarely. Carlos set up his window tint device and laid out all of his tools (taking care to make sure to put drop cloths down so that my furniture and floor didn't get dirty) and then began to put up the tint. Unlike most tinting companies he doesn't lay the tint out on the floor and cut it. Rather, he's got a device that he puts on top of a ladder that allows him to pull the tint down to the desired length and then cut it from the top. This gives more precise cuts and prevents the tint from becoming wrinkled or damaged. I would HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend Carlos' services...if you're looking for tint for your house, business, or vehicle, I'd definitely go with him. Super friendly, prompt, and does a quality job. He did such a great job that I actually contacted my brother (who's looking to have window tint done on his car) and got a quote for him. The next time my brother's available he'll be having Carlos put tint on his car. Once again, this is easily 5-star service. Hands down if I ever need tint again I'll be contacting Carlos; I'll also be referring all of my friends and family to him. He's a great guy using a great product (SunTek films) and providing great service. It was a pleasure doing business with him. read more
