Apostle Thompson opens the door for a believer to connect with the promises of GOD on an individual level. The other churches I had been to could only tell me how to connect but they could not open the door for me to connect with GOD. I was doing everything the other pastor said including tithing( over 20 years and serving in all kinds of ministries but nothing in my life was changing. As a matter of fact, it got worse. Apostle Thompson is a real-life testimony of the power of GOD and the love of GOD. He shows how good GOD is in marriage, health, prosperity, and an all-around blessed life. Being at Word of Life restored my faith and hope in GOD so that I no longer have to pretend church is a good place to belong. I am experiencing growth, maturity, miracles, and prosperity in my life and my children's lives.

Wow, I have never been here nor have I ever heard of it until I received an invite for a piano…read morerecital there. It's a fairly large venue space perfect for small-medium scale functions. Think high tea with scones and tidbit plates with the chandeliers brightly lit. Unfortunately, it wasn't set up like this, but it doesn't hurt to visualize, right? When I went, the venue was set up with rows of chairs and 2 grand pianos up front. Still quite lovely. It definitely could use a few updates, but not too many because it will take away from the historical feel of the space. I am not sure what else this space is most used for, but it's nice to know that it exists because I'd love to let more people know about it! It's definitely a hidden gem in downtown Baton Rouge.
