Unprofessional and untruthful We were selling our home in…read moreOctober 2020 and the potential buyer hired GVHI. Brian Zheng did the inspection, with our realtor present. During the inspection, he placed a metal mirror into the furnace and shorted out the motherboard, causing over $1400 in damages. He lied about putting the mirror into the furnace; only because our realtor was there and saw him did he admit to it. At the time, he said his insurance would cover the repairs. Soon after, he decided he was not at fault and offered $400 to appease us. We refused and filed with the Civil Rights Tribunal. He didn't reply to the complaint, so a default decision was made and he was ordered to pay us the full costs in May of 2021. When we tried to collect, Brian said he never received any documents about the complaint (a lie--they were sent to the business address and the CRT confirmed delivery). He filed for a cancellation, which was approved, and we had to start the entire process again, costing us further time and money. Despite Brian's attempts to get out of paying for the damage he did, the CRT found in our favor again, and he was ordered to pay the damages, fees and interest within 30 days of the decision. He waited until day 27 to pay. We have now finally received restitution, 16 months after the damages were caused. I found Brian to be unprofessional and untruthful. I do not recommend him.

It cost over $1,400 for repairs, Brian offered only $400 as compensation and refused to provide the company's insurance number to let the seller to claim. And his inspection report is unprofessional at all, for example: he suggests owner to do maintenance with outdoor gas meter and gas pipes, and even more. It is ridiculous! It is a nightmare to let him in to do the inspection. If I could, zero star.

They offer a 90-day warranty for missed issues, but I contacted them within the warranty period and did not receive any reply back now months later, well after the warranty has expired.
